lofl Laurie -- yes you get to see pictures. They are attached. The first is of her -- the second is of me. It's the first full length picture of me that has been taken in some time. LOL the annoyed look on my face shows that!!! (in my defense, it was the 6th picture in a row she had taken of me and we hadn't even gotten to the cherry blossoms yet!).

I can't do the combo, or rather -- I've failed before, because Phase 2 -- I don't know how to eat on it. I ruined my 13 pound loss last time on Phase 2 -- I got bored on Phase 1 for the 4th week, tried phase 2 and didn't know how to listen to my body and gained weight.

Grrr

Well Chicks it's been a long night and day! DH comes home from work yesterday complainin of his heart racin and stuff so he lays down. Then he gets up and says his chest feels tight and his left arm is startin to hurt. So off ot the ER. Well as usual they are packed. We wait and wait and then we finally see the triage(sp?) nurse for vitals and such. Well thank goodness she knows DH! Mind you we have been sittin in the waitin room for almost 2 hrs. So she gets him the next bed back there. The cardiac unit was full! Well they call in a cardiologist just to be safe he wants to do a stress test at the heart center this morning but won't let him go home so we spend the night up in the cardio observation floor. Where DH has a bed and I am in a very uncomffy chair. My knee is swelled and throbbin so bad and no way to really go to sleep. They get him an appt at 9:45 this mornin and we head over there for the 3-5 hour stress test! Thank goodness it only took 2 hours and they sent him home with a clean bill of health! I think it is all stress due to all goin on at work right now. There company just bought a new company overseas and he is in charge of meshing the two. Which may include a trip over there. Then with all the stuff goin on at home I think his cup is more than overflowing! So I had been up since yesterday until we got home about 1 today and I took a lil nap. I will be ready to fall out tonight after my show! lol Amazing Race.
No time to post to all. I can't catch up on all the thread's I am doin good to keep up with the daily right now. Sounds like Ruth needs a new helper ASAP! I have to get off of here the knee is really startin to scream at me! lol Ruth I'll borrow some Advil after I run out of the good stuff! lol
Take care chickies!

Jenne - Good to see you back!

I can't do regular SBD because I don't know what a reasonable portion is. While I believe that the SBD food choices are preferred for all of the reasons set forth in Dr. A's book, I also have trouble with certain things (such as potatoes) being on the "no" list.

So, I admit that I am mostly a WW follower and points counter, but I just love the SBD group here so I keep showing up. Also, when food is discussed, it helps me to focus on the healthier things that SBD recommends.

Beachgal - Yes, you got it, the kosher sushi place is on Robertson just south of Pico. Of course, like many kosher restaurants they aren't limited to just sushi -- they also do Italian food. So, my friend had pasta while I had the sashimi combo -- where else could you do that?!
