Thumbs up Beautiful Day in Boston

Sunshine and climbing into the 60's.

Am going into school late today because I have a PT appointment (hopefully my last - tore a ligament in my foot on Jan 16th and have been in intense PT since then. Crutches in Boston snow was NOT fun.) Anyhow - I think this is going to be my release date! Yes!

I had a fantastic 1st day OP. Beachgal - thanks for the "find something besides salads" advice. Ended up with a PERFECT veggir plate for supper.

That plus 20 minutes of walking and a 1-hour aqua aerobics class rounded out a really good, positive, OP day.

Thumbs up

Good morning everyone!

I just wanted to let you know that I actually turned myself in at Weight Watchers and counted points for a whole day.

I can't do the South Beach thing alone. Although the food choices make sense and I think that it is a good way to prevent diabetes and heart problems, I just don't know how to do portion control unless I count points. Right now I feel as I usually do when I show up back there: that this is easier than I thought it would be. Of course, as me how I feel about counting the D-- points in a month!

Bamie How do you roll the kids out the door? Is it like bowling? That I would like to see.

Silas32303 and Barb I've tried pulling my hair out too, but it doesn't seem to remove enough poundage. In all seriousness, just keep showing up and doing what you are doing. We didn't gain it overnight. It WILL come off.

MnA's Mom and Beach Bum You go girls!

Ellis They are coming for the purpose of the meeting and to see you, NOT to evaluate your house! I know what you mean though when people are coming. Tidying up is one thing but preparing for a white glove inspection is more than you need to do.

2BFit1 I sure know how you feel with vet bills and issues. One of our birds has cost over $1000 for an injury on his tush that required stitches. He then re-opened it again and had to go back. There is nothing quite like a cockatoo in puberty. Of course, we have furchildren too as well as feathered.

Beachgal I have been gone for a while. Remind me of what you are studing?

Wow. This took a while and I didn't get to everyone. Gotta get to the office! Going out to lunch today so wish me...not luck but WILL POWER.

Wow.....lot's of busy chicks in here today. I have been super lazy lately & eating whatever I want (yeah I know.) I realized last night that I've been eating whatever & feeling like crap & my back has been sore too. I made a decision to go back on phase I. I want to feel better and have more energy. I'm 29 yrs old & sleeping like I'm 100! I don't even have kids - I have no excuses for being tired & not taking care of myself!
So ladies, you've heard it here....back on phase I & checking in at least once day! I have to lose some weight & get some energy! I can't wait to see the results in 2 weeks!
Ok enough whining.....
I have to work late tonight with the ignorant boss that eats fried chicken - what a night!!!
Laurie - congrats on getting a different prof - hope it work out well
Ruth - you deserve to sleep in once in a while! Great job on making that scale move!
Ellis - You'll get that kitchen finished soon & it will be FAB!
2bfit - poor babies, I hope all is well with them!
Bamie - thanks for starting us up! Have a wonderful day.
Everyone else - have a great day! See you here tomorrow!!

I wish I had the mental capacity to remember something from each of your posts and comment! Those of you that can do that are much better than I am! Just know that I read each post and am supporting all of you!

Ok day today... I didn't post any yesterday because of this allergy/sinus mess that finally seems to be leaving me alone. But I had a wonderful weekend! More weight loss, which is great, but also my BF's mom did something for me that I will never be able to fully repay.

About a year ago she lost quite a bit of weight and then gained it all right back. However, during the short time that she was down in weight, she bought a lot of clothes (to celebrate, I would assume) and now she can't wear them. So she let me go through them to see if I could or would want to wear any of them. I ended up with 4 kitchen size trash bags full of clothes!! I couldn't even afford to buy 2 outfits right now if I wanted to, so this was truly a wonderful thing!! Now I have clothes that actually fit and don't hang off me covering up the great shape that I'm starting to take!!

Anyway, just had to share. My goal for today is to eat more veggies! I've been doing pretty darn good about only eating good carbs, but was getting a little worn out on veggies, so I've got to change things up and get back on track.

Well hey chicks!

I had a really good day today, I taught Grant Fundamentals I and II and it went really well and I got a lot of good feedback.

I am also really sticking close to the program. I see on here all the time when people eat things that are not OP and I think I must be bizarre...because I have yet to do that. I don't crave anything at all...my Phase I must have really taken like nobody's business.

Please don't hate me, I am not bragging, I just don't understand eating things that make me feel like crap. I can remember the 2:00 near coma from cheeseburger and fries and I don't want to ever feel like that again.

I can truly see, for the first time ever, reaching my goal and feeling good and my age! I am starting to get so many compliments from people and that is usually when my trouble starts because I get complacent and start to believe everything they say...hehe I have to stay focused. Although, I can't really see ever eating like I once did, because I don't desire that stuff.

Anyway, I am in hotel room and I think I am going to go down to the restaurant and get some dinner. I will check back in later!
