Afternoon chicks...... I was up and took DH to physo and dd and her friend to the babysitting course then I had an hour to kill til I picked dh up. So I went to the market and got some great strawberries which I am eating with some yogurt and a little gronola a wee bit of cool whip and some flax seeds. I had a terrible battle with some animal crackers last night and they won. So I avoided the scale this morning. But I am back on track and I just keep thinking about a bathing suit. I think I might put my virtual model in a suit and print her out and put her on the fridge.

Sarah- Glad you stopped at three. Hate to put a damper on it but that will probably screw up phase 1.

Anchor- taxes that reminds me I need to get working on mine.

Bamie I will keep you in my thoughts. I hope all goes well.

Hunnybee congrats on the size 12 nothing like skinny clothes to make a chick feel great.

soon- I can't make cookies or I would eat the dough. Have fun at the meeting.

beachbum I need to get some stuff in as well they say we are going to be hit on sat. MMMM I must make a list.

Kiko good to hear from you. Thank goodness for mom's, glad you are feeling well.

amb-lyn- have fun at your sons program and good for you exercising.

Ellis what is Ryvita ?????? Have a great day.

Ruth- have fun shopping. I found a web all about pedometer I will have to go see if I can find it. Where did I put that addy.

cottage- hope you have fun with the card games and movies. Nothing worse than wee ones when they are sick. Have a great day.

Well I must go, I have a mountain of laundry to do.......grr I hate laundry. I would love to have someone come in and do my laundry and clean my bathroom. Have a great day chicks.

Good Morning!

Bamie-I'll be thinking of you today! When you wake up, let us know how everything went!

Ruth-A chicken pot pie sounds DIVINE!!!! Thanks...now you made me hungry!

It's an ugly day outside this morning but I heard it was supposed to burn off and be sunny. I heard the temps on the coast here would be around 75 and 80's inland. Sorry cold chickies! I didn't want to say it but I feel so sad for all of you. I'm just glad RNMOM hasn't ripped my head off yet!

I'm feeling a lot more alert today. Day 4 of P1 is usually when I start feeling better. Day 3 is the worst. Those headaches get to me as well as that sleepy feeling. I'm really trying to get all my veggies in. The funny thing is that I've cooked more with tomatoes in the last couple days than most other veggies. The funny thing about that is that I hate tomato chunks. I can eat them if they're cooked in something but please never give me raw ones! Please tell the cabana boy to never bring me a Bloody Mary!

I need to get into some of this work on my desk this morning so I'll check back in later!

Guten tag! It's practically afternoon here and I'm sure it's afternoon for your right coasters...

I could not get up this morning!!! I hit the snooze bar on my alarm clock, but accidentally hit the off button and was late for work! Thank goodness my boss is incredibly later than I am so not a big deal. )

I got on the scale today and lost ONE pound!! Woo hoo! I'm past the 8 lb hump! Hopefully, I don't get it back on the weekend! P

Just dashing in for a quick hello and to check in with everyone.

DM had her mastectomy on Monday and came through the surgery OK, but.... With the start of dimentia, the post surgery care has been challenging. She pulled her tubes out right after she got home from the hospital and was adamant that they were to be taken out at the hospital before she came home. She has been nasty to everyone who must deal with her almost incherent most of the time. However, we will get through this...I hope.

I had a dr. appointment on Monday and am not doing very well. He is stepping up my surgery to ASAP, so I will be trying to cope with DM (who I haven't told about my problems) and myself.

My weight has crept up 3 pounds over the past 3 weeks, mostly because I haven't been going to the track regularly. I have committed to doing my workouts regularly til at least my surgery, then I will have to follow dr's orders after that. My biggest wish is that he will tell me to go to bed and never get up. Well at least a month, anyway.

Well, that's all about me. I will try to drop in to visit soon. BE GOOD, everyone. Ta ta.

Golly! You girls MUST know what Ryvita is! It's that dry crispbread stuff! http://www.ryvita.com/ I get the high fibre one. Some people hate them, but it's all a matter of getting used to the flavour.

Dragonfly, YAY on the pound!!

Gee, Kissy, that's really too bad about your crummy weather.

Little Chick, I just picked up strawberries, too, and they are HUGE!! There's like, 6 in the box!

Sarah, good luck at the interview, hon. shudder. I feel for you.

Soon2bfab, what a cutie pie!! My nine year old still dresses up, but I miss when the kids were little... they looked so sweet in their costumes.

Anchor, HUNDREDS of morels!? Holy, I've never even had ONE! We used to pick fiddleheads from the forest behind us when we were kids. Those were yummy...
And wild blueberries... and bears...

Hunny, congratulations on the size 12!!

Beach bum, it IS warmer today! The sun is shining, and I almost feel like sitting on the verandah and soaking it up.

Karen, good for you for looking after yourself while you're pregnant. Make sure you do it AFTER your little love is born, too! Make some time for yourself.
Yes, I'm weighing in tonight. I'm doing a combo WW and South Beach, and weigh in at WW tonight. I've had a good week, and I'm almost looking forward to weighing in.
Hopefully I'll have lost some of the 4 pounds I packed on last month.

Amber, I hope you enjoyed your DS's program! They're still so cute at that age, although I'm sure he looks big to you beside your baby.

Well, I'm starving. I'm not eating dinner until after my weigh-in.
I had coffee and lunch out today with a friend, and managed to stay OP!

Bami - Yeah! It is great news! I was thinking about you.

Ellis - Yup hundreds - but they also are willing to hike 5 miles to get to their mushroom spots. They have them strung up all over their cabin drying. We make necklaces out of them and hang them from our rear view mirrors. Just one of those crazy up north in the woods things to do. They used to have an old cabin with an outhouse before they built the new cabin. I would have to go out there in the middle of night to potty. I could always swear there was a bear or some big gigantic cat or wolf watching me. Made me too scared to go.

Sweet Tooth - and love and prayers to you and your family!

Bamie, that's wonderful news!! I'm so glad you're alright, sweetie.

Amy... that's funny... it sounds like our cottage. I HATE waking up in the night because I have to "go". And I always do.
For some stupid reason, I'm always afraid there are going to be hunters lurking in the dark, just waiting for me and my flashlight to hit the outhouse.
