Bamie, I had my gallbladder removed about 8 years ago, but instead of having bad heartburn I had gallstone attacks, and they are worse than childbirth labor! But the dr. did give me a prescription for Tagamet which is great for heartburn. Maybe you could ask him for some til he sees you again. I sure do hope all your suffering is over with soon!
Yum, with you all talking of mushrooms got me hungry for some. I've only ever bought mine in a store, I'm too chicken to go out picking them in the wild. That was a popular Spring rite when we lived in Germany, but I was always afraid I'd pick the wrong kind and end up poisoning everybody!
I was naughty at lunchtime today, I was fixing PBJ's for the grandkids, and all the sudden I found myself eating 1/2 of one! At least it was on ww bread and the peanut butter was natural. So for supper I only had some steamed spinach with 2 eggs scrambled in it and a slice of ff cheese. It wasn't good, but that was my penance. I'm not allowing myself anything else to snack on before bedtime either.
