Ruth and Beach Bum - Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep last night. I know how rough that is. I always feel like a zombie when I haven't had enough!

Bami - I am so glad to hear you went to the ER. Please keep us posted! I can't believe your husband didn't find it important enough to take you.

I don't even want to think about taxes! I guess I need to soon though. We normally get money back. I'm off work tomorrow and can at least get everything organized. Maybe I'll get it all done. Tonight is Open House at the school. I was hoping we wouldn't need to get there at 6 when it starts so I could squeeze in Pilates class but Brian says he thinks the second graders are performing in music class at 6 so I guess we don't want to be late. Yeah! I just checked the schedule and there is a Pilates class at 10 tomorrow morning. I'll just take that one and not worry about tonight.

Red face

Hi Chickies! I know I have been AWOL for a while (a day or two) but Im back now. Dd has one of those upper respitory colds and I had to keep her home bc of her fever. Took her to daycare and I swear she got worse and worse on the drive there and looked and sounded horrible when we go there. They took her temp which was good. Anyway with the teacher I decided to keep her one more day at home. she's going to the 's house tonight for weekend visitation. Speaking of the , looks like he is angry that Im getting remarried. Been calling every person I might contact to find out about it. ugh when I mean every person, I mean coworkers, My Mom x friends whoever.. wouldn't shock if he stopped in here... and of course always drama with FH's X too. She sent him and email and finally said that she has been waiting for him to come to his senses and come back to her... again another nutso...

Got on the scale with TOM here and I haven't lossed or gained which is incredible news... I missed ya'll so I hope everyone has a great OP day!!!

The day almost got away from me again, as soon as I got home the phone rang, it was a friend begging me to come and get her kids and drop them off at school, her car battery was dead. So while I was out I ran to the bank and post office and got back home to find one of the grandkids needing me to watch her this morning. Have you ever tried typing with a 19 month old on your lap?

L.C. ~ I love your new avatar

Rayneysmom ~ Try to have a good day despite the spat. We all have our little disagreements, but then things get better.

Amblyn ~ Sure hope your little one gets better soon.

Ellis ~ Good morning to you as well! Shame on you for not making coffee for DH! (I get like that too)!

Barb ~ I miss those open houses at school, they we always interesting. Have a good time .

I really have to go. The baby is making it next to impossible to post, she's competing for my attention. .

I finally have a few minutes to pop in to see how everyone is doing.

Ruth - I don't blame you for not going to town. Dh was just in TO this past week and said that it was really cold there. Out west we have been sunning ourselves in +8 temps...I even went out the past couple of days without a coat on. I can hardly wait until the spring weather is here for good.

lc - Have fun with the laundry and taxes - what a combination!!! I still need to do mine, but have just been putting it off for this year so far.
I love that name 'Howie.' I can just picture the mischief...

ellis - Have fun painting. DH is the same about holes in walls and ceilings. I just wait til he's gone, then it is toooooo late. Just make sure that you make 1 hole (the voice of experience speaking)

rayneysmom - Hope the day gets better. And, just stay with the program. You will find that the weight will come off. Sometimes just a bit (or a lot) of patience is needed. You will do this, though.

Amber - Sorry to hear about baby and with you sick that is not good. Hope today goes well and that you are both feeling better soon. Take care.

Cottage - Have a great day with the grandkids. I do envy people who are close to their grandkids. We are too far away, so have to schedule visits with them, and then it is often not alone to do silly things. Last time I was babsitting, we had a backwards dinner. We ate all the dessert up first - almost a food fight - then had our main course. The stupidest part of the event was that the kids ate more food eating their dessert first than they normally eat. I was really surprised.

Me - It has been chaotic in my life. DH just got back from his nephew's funeral and I went to his aunt's funeral while he was away. On top of that, I had to run DM to dr. appointments. She is scheduled for a second mastectomy on Monday morning, so that will be more care once she is home from the hospital. I went to one of her dr. appointments and her family dr. is afraid that she is in the first stages of Alzheimers as well. She had a test for that this past Monday, so I am just waiting for the results. It makes it even more difficult when she is facing surgery.

I just wanted to tell everyone about one of the college teachers here. He was teaching a class and one of the assignments was to be objective about something that is advertised in the media. One group selected the Supersize documentary as their assignment project. He didn't think that they were being objective, so he agreed to take on the same diet for 30 days - McDonalds food three times per day for 30 days. He finished the 30 days yesterday. I was just reading the article this morning...he lost 17 pounds and his blood pressure went down. He doesn't have the results from his blood work yet, but should have in a day or two. The difference between him and Morgan Spurlock - he exercised 5 to 6 hours per week. Just thought I would pass this on to everyone because the exercise is a really important part of healthy living.

Personally, I really struggle with the exercise. I just don't enjoy taking time to exercise. I have finally come to terms with it, though, although the last couple of months have been hit or miss. I am hoping that March will be better, but I will have to play that by ear, depending on what my home life deals me this month.

Anyway, I better run and get back to work. Have a great day at the beach.

I do feel better this morning. Although that pill that I take an hour before I eat to coat my stomach is so big I almost could not get it down. I don't know that I can take that big ol honkin thing 4 times a day! Thank you all again for your well wishes! Y'all are so sweet! I am fixin to get the phone book and see if I can find a doc that can see me soon.

Good Morning Everyone! No way I can post to everyone. My time is almost up to go eat. Y'all all take care and have a great day! I have to feed the beast today myself! (laundry) Among a million other things since I didn't get anything done yesterday. I'll check y'all chicks later!

Just popping in to say hi before work.

Bamie, glad you are feeling a tiny bit better AND got an appointment so quickly.

L.C. Howie is a cutie! Good luck with the housetraining, some get it quicker than others. Our little Boston Terrier took forever but once the light was on that was it never pottied in the house again. Glad the tummy is healing up.

Sweet Tooth: Scary about your mom, hope the test turns out negative. You and me both with the exercise. TIME TIME TIME where will I find it.

Ruth, hope you sleep good tonight. Nightmares suck.

Everyone else have a good day. Hope the babies get better and the dh's that are being poops are nicer tonight. Everyone have a good OP day.

Finally it's quiet and peaceful around here, whew! I work harder now than when I had an outside job! It seems like today is laundry day for us Chicklets. I got all mine finished, and even washed sheets. Earlier I put a boneless pork chop for Jake and a chicken breast for me in the crockpot with some spagetti sauce, mushrooms and onions. I'll serve Jake's over pasta, and have mine over spagetti squash. It better start getting warm outside soon, all I want to do is eat when I'm stuck indoors day after day. I'm really in the mood to bake something yummy.

Yeah, I've been wondering the same thing, WHERE IS LAURIE???

Hunnybee, BeachBum, Taz, Sweet Tooth and Bunna ~ Hi!

Bamie ~ So glad you're seeing a gastroentologist tomorrow, and hope he fixes you up quickly.
