Smile We started SBD today!

[B]My friend has been raving about this diet. So I talked to DP and we officially started today. Seems easy enough just modify my recipes a little and Viola. even found frzn lunch meals for me that are low carb (ok ph 1) and 1.08 each which a .76 cent cheaper than my normal Lean C or WW meals

Anyway, I have a horrible headache right now and think it maybe from lack of sugar. could be? I don't know didn't have sug in my morning coffee so anyway will sub splenda for the week. You guys are wealth of SB knowledge here.. whoo hoo.

Pss trying Taco Bake tonight so excited. See ya'll around.

Welcome to The Beach. It's great that your DP is doing this too!

Um....can you please tell us what frozen lunches you think are OK on Phase I? Maybe you could post the ingredients. (Most of the experienced SBD folk will tell you that keeping it simple and avoiding processed foods is the way to succeed.)

I'll fix your tracker for you. The smilie is causing the problem.

Later: I lied. Smilie is not the problem.
See if you can fix it by re-doing and holler if you need help.

You have to also remember it's not all about carb count but good carbs vs bad carbs and your sugars and such. I would be careful with the frozen dinners. Maybe you could post the ing. just to make sure it is all good stuff. I wish I would have read this before I went to the grocery store tonight. Oh never mind I just checked the time stamp and it was 9:14 my time. We would just hate for you to think your eating all this good stuff that isn't really good stuff. They make the package look so appealing and healthy but yet it's not for this WOE. Look forward to seeing you in the daily!

Welcome to the Beach! I checked their web site and they do have nutritional information for their Lean Gourmet products but not the Low Carb ones. http://www.michelinas.com/3_product/index.htm They don't even list ingredients for those. I would worry about how lean the meat is as well as any fillers and would also wonder if there are enough vegetables.
