Hello chickies,

Just dropping by to say HI and check in.

Mamacita - I'm gettin' my wild mane trimmed, toned, and touched up tomorrow too. I can't wait

Ruth - DH made split pea soup a couple of days ago. He's got it down to a science!

Anchor - just this week I decided to change my weekly weigh day from Monday to Wednesday. Mondays and scales just don't cooperate.

Barb - that big red number keeps getting smaller and smaller. WTG! and the menus for the week that you post sometimes sounds YUMMY! Keep posting them - they're great for inspiration.

Laurie - IPO is Initial Purchase Offering, like recently when Google went public on the stock exchange and their IPO price was in the stratosphere! As for the tapioca I would probably put it in the "once in a while" category. At http://www.carb-counter.org/cereal/search/Tapioca/2000 it is listed with the cereal, grain and pasta. My hubby likes it too and I was curious, so I found this info about it:

Tapioca is basically a root starch derived from the cassava, or yuca plant. It's often used to thicken soups and sweeten the flavor of baked goods, and it makes a dandy pudding. The thick, fibrous roots are used in a variety of forms: bread flour, laundry starch, an alcoholic brew, and of course, tapioca pudding. As the Encyclopedia Britannica tells us, it was probably first harvested by the Mayans.

The beef rouladens your DH made sound tasty. Usually the stuffed ingredients include mustard, too. That is one of my favorite meat entrees to have over here.

Palm Tree - good going on Phase 1. Remember to drink your H20!!

Goldie - don't worry about the slip, you said the key words "Back On Plan today"

Bamie - sorry to hear about your cousin. Drive safely.

Hello to those yet to come.

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts and prayers. Yes Goldie peanut really is better cause it's a lot less chocolate and peanuts are on plan. I think I even read somewhere that if you had to have something that would be best. Can't member exactly where right now but... If I am just really at my wits end and need chocolate I will usually get those. Does not mean go hog wild and have 'em all the time! teehee! i'm off to the carwash with DS so he can vacuum out my van. I never got it done Sun. due to the rain! I can't bear a 10 hour road trip in that mess! It's amazing how much dirt you track in your car just gettin in and out. Of course I blame it all on everyone else! hahahaha Chow Chicks!

Good Morning - it is 9am here in Australia - the time delay is funny, when I look at the board in the morning I think wow everyone was so busy during the night A little ditzy...I'm not really a morning person !

Sorry I haven't had a chance to read all of the posts but I wish everyone well for today! Sorry what is Hump Day?

We are pretty tired here at home - my little one has had a virus for the last three days and is very weak from vomiting and diarhea(sp?).. The poor love is awake all night...

I leave for my trip to Cambodia in two weeks and am getting really anxious about it - which is not helping me sleep. So I haven't managed to do an exercise over the last few days. Hopefully I will do some on the weekend.

have a lovely day,
Marianna

I go through that several times a year with DS but he seems to be out growing it thank goodness! That is a BIG time jump! Good luck on your trip.
