It must be vegetarian. That's why the cow is laughing.

Wendyjo-I had my first yesterday -- what I do is clean, wash and cut my celery and bring the cheese wrapped. I spread open the wrapper and "dunk" the celery into the cheese. It's easier that way.

They came out with a Lite French Onion and it's scrumptious on the celery!

Also, and I forgot who asked it now, BabyBel is cow's milk cheese that is the French version of Dutch Edam. Edam is made from skimmed milk that is approximately 40 percent milk fat and comes in spheres that weigh up to 4 pounds. This mellow, savory cheese has a pale yellow interior with a red or yellow paraffin coating. The yellow coating is very common in Holland cheese and rare in domestic varieties.

Hope that helped!

Jenn

perhaps it was a Laughing Cow promotion? Meaning, when SBD first came out, they printed jokes on the lables to get us "cows" laughing?

Just a thought
