Hi Dgramie,
I'm here!! I've just read back through the days I've missed, how did the night with your Grandson's go? Was it lovely?
We've had a busy time here and just in the middle of it now. Last weekend my husband and son travelled to Queensland so my son could compete in the Australian International Oireachtas (Irish Dancing) - it was a big competition and a big deal. We are so proud of him - he came 7th. The challenge for me was staying home with my daughter who wanted to have a girlie night - junk food and DVD. We did well, I made a considered decision and limited my portion size. I suppose that is what it is all about - moderation.
This weekend my daughter is off down to Melbourne with her rhythmics gym club to compete in a competition this weekend. I won't have the same challenges because I will continue with my usual night shifts at the weekend and will be able to stay on plan.
Otherwise, it's stuvac week - preparation for exams and lots of marking.
The weather is becoming cooler - low 20's celcius and wet, typical winter.
That's about all for now, I need to stop procrastinating and get marking.
I'll stop in again soon.
Bek.
