Today I'm 201.5 lbs, I'd like to not get any higher before January. I'll be checking in everyday. I'm not counting calories, but I am trying to get off my butt and move more.
I'm in!! I was 184 this morning, so come January 1st if I'm 184 or less I have won.
I have mine, my mom, my only sibling, and my eldest nephews birthday still to come this month. As well as a 5 day vacation to the city (NHL game and Santa Clause parade) not to mention the holidays.
I am also trying to maintain through the end of January. I have a lot of birthdays (including my own) and anniversaries to celebrate in January so I'm going to maintain for that month as well. I'll start losing again in February. As long as I don't go over 192.2 lbs, then I'll be happy. I'm going to try to lose for the next two weeks because I'm expecting to gain after the big Thanksgiving Day meal so hopefully things will even out and I'll end up at 192.2 lbs or less after Thanksgiving. After that, it will be extremely hard to maintain because my mom loves to bake holiday cookies and candy but I'm going to do my best and hopefully the damage won't be too bad.
I do hope to lose a few pounds but will be content if I "only maintain". I can't tell you how many times I was on track with my eating but was derailed by the holiday season. My primary goal for November and December is to stay in control.
Hello all, my scale is broke!!! I'm a daily weigher so this sucks. Going to the city next week and could probably get a better quality one but not sure I can hold off that long. Might have to take a trip to Walmart.
Congrats on getting that 1 back as a first # Mozzy.
I'm going to try to lose a few more pounds before we're through with 2013, but if I go no higher than 280, I'll be glad.
It seems like every winter my husband and I manage to put on about ten pounds each, then we have to start again being that much further behind in the spring.
