What apps do you like to use to help with your journey?
I like MyFitnessPal for my food tracking. I also think it's a great place to support each other. If you use, MFP, feel free to add me: wymama.
I have also started using Runkeeper for exercise because it syncs up with MFP. Runkeeper is turned on while I'm walking and will determine how far/how fast I walked. Then it syncs right up to MFP.

LisaLou,
I like My Fitness Pal too. If I don't log every bite that passes my lips, it's impossible for me to lose. Each morning, Hubby and I sit down together with MFP and figure out what we're going to eat and drink for the day. We both also like the Runtastic Pedometer app (for iPhone and Android) because it too tracks your steps, converts them into calories lost, then syncs right up with My Fitness Pal. Runtastic also has apps for other types of exercise too! If you want to friend me on MFP, I'm Jillie422 there too :-)
Runtastic. I'll have to look at that one and see how it compares to Runkeeper.
I love that you and your hubby do it together. My husband is in the PE Teacher's program, studying to be a PE teacher. He never has to worry about weight, unless he's "bulking up." blech.
I use the free version of the ShapeUp App from the Google Play Store. Its easy, just type in how many calories you just ate and it tallies it all day. You can set up a weight loss goal and it will set your daily calories accordingly. But you can adjust the calories if you want. I love it!
I also use iSmoothRun which can track walking, hiking, running, or bike riding. It's extremely accurate, uses GPS to track your route/speed/altitute, maps your route, shows you graphs, and can even chime in every few minutes to tell you how fast you're going etc. I love it!

I use MFP. I've used Lose It in the past, but when I upgraded to my new phone I had just started with MFP, so that's the one I chose. I also really love the Fitbit app
