Default 10000 steps questions

hi guys,

just wondering if the whole 10000 steps thing is counted as exercise?

i do try exercise when i can, usually about 4 days a week - anything from walking, zumba, etc. having a 10month old i dont usually have the time or energy for more than that!

but days i dont exercise i wear a pedometer and consciously try get in as many steps as possible, and usually hit 10000, sometimes more, sometimes less

is this still good for weight loss? i mean i still also stick in my 1200 calorie allowance as well but i feel guilty when i dont exercise so i just hope that the 10000 are enough. also with the whole thing, is the 10000 steps supposed to exclude or include exercise?

thanks!!

10,000 is the recommended minimum but of course more is better... If you're continually losing weight then it's all good... Also make sure the 1200 calories you're eating are clean
