Default Has anyone tried Tria or Silk'n hair removal products

Has anyone tried one of the at-home laser/ipl products for excess facial hair? Something like Tria or Silk'n Flash & Go?

As far as I know, I don't actually have PCOS. I went to my doctor a few years ago b/c of irregular periods and dark hair on my chin. Insulin, ultrasound, hormone levels all came back normal so they sent me off with BCP and well wishes. My insulin has been checked since, and it's still normal; but the facial hair is getting worse. And it's horribly embarrassing, as I'm sure you can imagine. Anyway, I wondered if any of you ladies knew whether the at home lasers worked? It's so hard to find real reviews online, but they look like a wonderful option.

If I just didn't need to shave every day...

Guess not! The Amazon price just dropped to $295 (I'm thinking this is a fluke of some kind actually...) and I bought the TRIA laser. I'm skeptical but hopeful and I'll keep you ladies updated on my progress if you're interested. Praying I haven't wasted my limited funds on a dud.
