I'm so interested to hear if anyone has juiced for their 4 cups of veggies, daily? I feel like I would eat a bigger variety this way with way more nutrients. Watching "sick, fat and nearly dead" definitely opened my eyes a bit more than IP has and while I would love to do a "reboot" as they called it in the movie - I'm not ready to give up on IP as I've been very successful (down 30.5 lbs in 7 weeks).
I've never seen "sick, fat, nearly dead". But I think part of the veggie system is to prevent hunger, although I could be wrong, just not sure. Might have to keep an eye out for that movie though.
As long as you consume the fiber/pulp portion (the "whole food") I don't see the problem. I pulverize spinach in my breakfast smoothie and I LOVE it, ran out of spinach this morning and just had my coffee+RTD w/ice and it wasn't half as delicious and thick. Who knew spinach was the secret ingredient to a delicious, thick chocolate cappuccino!
This question has come up quite a bit... But I think that you lose alot of the "good stuff" so it's not recommeded... I know that quite a few folks vlen in veggies with their packets...
The first few days of IP I did this. But I got so sick of it, only the smell of it would make me gag lol, so now I eat cucumber with salt and lemon or some cauliflower puree, and I'm trying some new veggie recipes to make them taste better. Currently trying to make zuchinni chips but it's hard!
