Default keto stix

I bought some, just out of curiosity more than anything, but what I need to know is.......Is it the goal to get them the darker colors, or is any color okay? The first time I tried, it was a light pink. Is that good?

Any color is fine.....you are either in ketosis or not...does not matter how "dark" the test strip becomes. Time of testing should be at the same time....I understand morning may be the best time to test....

Also, not everyone registers on the sticks at all. There are other signs of ketosis and many people lose weight despite having no color on the strips.

Good luck!

the darker your strips is only a indicator that you need to drink more water.

Mine are pinkish purple during the day, then later at night they are dark dark purple. I drink 32 oz of water a day -- does this mean I need to drink more?

hi everyone...regarding the ketone strips...I think as long as they are a pink color rather light or dark you are in ketosis...I myself usually have a dark pink color whereas my boyfriend his is always light but he has lost 45 pounds on Atkins so no problem there. What is the correlation with the darker the strip the more water you need...more concentrated protien? just curious...
