Jessica~just a thought on dog sitters--have you thought to ask either a neighbor or a college student? While we've had so-so success with neighbors (some are great, some okay, some go way overboard) but a college student (I don't know how far you are from a college) might work well--they NEED money in most cases and might help you well.
I'm in Scottsdale right now. DH and I golfed this morning with a guy the course teamed us up with. It was a bit daunting at first--we're not the best at "normal" courses. He gave me a tip, really late in the game, that really, really helped me. I wish he'd said something earlier! But the stiff neck I woke up to on Monday came back with a vengeance toward the end of the game and I'm still in pain.
