Howdy Blue Team !

Hope everyone had a great week. I've been really active all week and it isn't going to stop all weekend by the looks of it. Today I have the polar plunge. It doesn't sound like it will be all that fun to actually jump in the freezing cold lake but it's for a good cause (Special Olympics). We're going to have some friends over to the house after that.

Congratulations to all the losers this week. Also to all those who have had NSVs. You guys are very inspirational !

Have a great weekend team !

I just completed a 2 mile walk. I'm making progress with exercise.

Hi everyone! I finally posted a loss this week, yeah!

I didn't go to the yoga retreat, I had some swelling in my knee, that I've not had before, so I thought it best to reschedule my trip.

The place I go to is called Kripalu, it's in Lenox, MA. They have wonderful workshops and it's great place to reset. I've been there 6 times so far, it's very calming for me.

Hey Blue Team! Can't believe I missed weigh-in last week! My focus has definitely not been on weight-loss lately, since I've been overwhelmed with work, but I want to work in more activity and better eating so I can actually contribute to our team!

My biggest challenge lately has not been so much with activity, since I'm definitely not sitting around all day, even if I'm not getting actual exercise. The real problem has been with eating. Lots of social events (like two birthday parties yesterday!), and a lopsided schedule that has me eating at odd hours or going long periods between meals. My choices haven't been very great lately. I'm considering fully jumping into the 4HB diet, which I kind of like, but will take a lot more preparation on my part to actually stick to. Since I just got a new microwave, I think at least preparing meals ahead of time will be easier from now on!

To all the losers this week (especially Leslie! Rock on!): Congrats on being superstars! I hope I can get motivated and work it like you guys have been doing! Keep it up!

Lost 1 lb. The 190s are kicking my butt. I've been here since the end of December.

2.75lb down this week, very happy!

I'm now in the 12 stones, something I don't remember seeing on the scales as an adult. I'm also pretty close to being out of the 180s, it seems a lifetime ago that I dreamed of one day being out of the 200s and here I am, almost in the 170s, I can't wait! Lost my first stone of 2012 too, whoop!

I'll try and get on here more next, life got in the way last week, which actually might have worked in my favour, as the 'diet' just became normal life rather than something I obsess over!

I do want to try and find the time to come on and share this journey with everyone, as it's challenges like this one that will see me one day reach my goal

Went spinning this morning, and I'm no longer scared of it, which is a relief as I have another class on Tuesday lunchtime!

Enjoy what's left of your weekend guys, good luck for weigh in. And remember, no matter what the result today, next week can always be bigger and better. Let's DO THIS TEAM!

x

Howdy Blue Team !

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. The polar plunge yesterday was great... there were close to 600 plungers. Good fun ! We had people over last night and brought out the Rock Band which we haven't played in a long time. Today hubby and I started week 2 of the C25K. I'm still on the fence if running is my thing... I'll keep doing it this week then reevaluate next weekend.

HealthyMeWannabe - Congratulations on the 2 miles ! You go girl !

BethC - Hope your knee feels better soon and you can get to that retreat.

slowrunner - What is the 4HB diet?

Lambiechop - Congrats on the 1 lb. You'll kick those 190's in the butt !

takingcontrol - Congrats on the loss ! You're doing awesome !

Have a great rest of the day team !

Hi everyone~ sorry I've been mia, still sick and a bit depressed. Lots of emotional eating this week and it showed. Sorry. I watched a show yesterday that kinda snapped me out of it, it's called Fat Chef, Brett from last season's BL is the trainer. These people have 16wks to lose 25% of their weight. It just inspired me to get back on track and just do this. Finding ways to deal with my emotions clicked watching that show. So I'm going to put it to use. I gotta just start thinking of myself and putting me first. I can do this!! I will be more active here too. I need you ladies!!!
