Just want to rant I've been doing the daily weigh-in thread so even though it's not Thursday yet (my official weigh in day) I know that I've only lost a pound so far this week-222.8 and I'm wondering if I'll ever see 219! I lost 5 lbs the first week, 2.8 the second--I was hoping for at least another 2.8 this week, but unless my body has some kind of lurking surprise for me, it doesn't look like it's going to happen. It's just hard knowing that I'm working SO hard and all the sudden it feels like it's for nothing.... but I'm trying to tell myself it is for something and I need to be patient. Maybe I hoping I can just get to 219 if I wish hard enough But of course, we all know that's not how it works. So, I'll keep working at it.... I just really want to see 219

I am still here with you QT. I am starting to hate the 220's. I might be in the middle of a junk food mine field and can't get out.

Hey all! I'm FINALLY out of the 240s (barely - lol - 239.8)!! I swear, the 240s were the never-ending decade for me. Anyway, I'm more than ready to hang out here for awhile.

I've noticed my weight loss has been slowing down since I left the 250s behind. I've been losing about a pound a week since the holidays. I'll take it, but I'd LOVE to see two pounds per week instead of just one. I guess it would help if I could be more OP on the weekends, since it seems I spend Mon-Tues re-losing the water weight I gain over the weekend. LOL!

My plan going forward through the 230s/220s is to use my tracker on myfitnesspal daily, as well as get myself to the gym at least 4 days per week.

Hope to be chatting with you guys & sharing support!!

Is it just me or has January gone by REALLY slow? Slow weight loss, slow days, everything.

I just now hit 239 yesterday, where I was telling myself it should have been maybe last week. Maybe it just takes that long to recover from December.

I figure I'll chirp in on this thread since this is definitely where I belong. My start weight was 234.5 two weeks ago and I am now grazing along the 220s line with numbers like 229 and such.
I am trying not to do this to myself, but when you start on this process and see how much you have to wait and what you have to put into it just to shed a pound or two, you can't help but kick yourself for packing on all these pounds in the first place.
2 years ago I weight 202 soon after having a baby. And its like I KNEW it right then, that if I don't do anything, those pounds will just creep up. But life was so hectic and crazy I was barely finding time to breath. So I somehow ended up over 30lbs higher less than 2 years down the line. I keep thinking if ONLY I had just not let it happen. But I guess the way I can look at it, is if I didn't do anything now, I probably would have gained another 20 by the end of THIS year and been a year longer into my life with that much more to lose to get back to now.
I was hoping to be further down the line of the 220s this week (I only lost a total of 1lb last week) but I probably need to review what I am doing and start being a little bit more accountable with calories. Even healthy stuff can add up if one eats too much of it. But counting calories feels like SO much work. I've done it before and can't imagine keeping that close of a food log. But maybe that's what I'm gonna have to do....

The last time I posted here I was so depressed I ATE, good going huh?! So I ended up gaining .6 that week. Well, I picked myself up and had at it... this week has been so amazing, I actually weighed in at 219.6 this morning
Tomorrow is my Official Weigh In, so if I'm still in the 219's then I guess I have to move to another thread

Congrats Kelly!!!

I'm at 239.0 this morning, but it's TOM so hopefully my true weight is a couple pounds lower by now. We'll see within the next couple days. My sodium has also been high lately so I am sure I'm carrying excess water weight in addition to TOM bloating. Yuck!!
