  • Angela -- Sounds like planning and having all your food saved you!! Congrats on that and the scale.

    I have a busy week and you may not see me much this week... but I'm motivated to keep POP.
  • WW tomorrow. I feel squishy and I don't think that's good. I've been POP all week so I'm hoping for the best and will blame water retention if there's not a loss.

    Tomorrow is February. The worst of Winter will be over in about 6 weeks. Of course this Winter has been so mild here that snow remaining on the ground is the exception rather than the usual rule.
  • Hey, all, just got home from winning a faculty/student spelling bee. My friend came in second on the faculty side, and we both beat her husband, who's a world-class Scrabble player! He took it well, though, which is saying a lot, because he's probably memorized thousands of words I've never even heard of...

    Second day in a row I've been low on calories and ended up feeling shaky/low-blood-sugary. I'm not used to having to plan to eat enough. It's not because I'm so wonderful, it's just because I'm so busy, but still I guess I need to plan a little better.

    Wow, Judy, I'm so far south of you, but it sounds like our winters have been a lot alike.

    Another packed, busy day tomorrow. I'm already pining for May... I shouldn't be, because April should be a lot of fun, with those trips to NYC and Berkeley. But there's sooooo much to do between now and then.

  • I'm near Chicago and it was mid-50s today. One of the mildest winters in memory. Fine by me!!
  • We hit 65 in the Bluegrass state today. I have easter flowers up about 4 inches and my blue bells are up about 6 inches.I have a couple of stray pansies blooming in my yard. I also have dantheus that never died back this year and has a few scattered blooms.

    Hubby asked me when was I going to start my seeds for the garden. I think I will wait a bit longer...never know when it could turn to winter.

    scales are driving me NUTS!!! I have been eating OP and they just wont budge!! I will win this battle!! I am eating extra servings of veggies daily and they really help fill me up. Water is still a bit on the low side. I will continue to work on that!
