Hey, Sloanie, welcome back and good luck. We've missed you.
Ems, I don't know about the patches. But, I too have had cold sores all my life, especially when I was younger. I've had shingles twice!
We went out for lunch and I had an old-fashioned hamburger..that will be my meal for the day.
Tomorrow, I'm doing two tap performances with the troupe. The first one is at the Senior Center open house. That is where we take lessons. I'm dancing with a class, and then with the Syncopated Ladies (our performing group.) The evening performance is in Dallas at what is called Polyphonics Spree. It will be late and I hear the smoke in the air will remind me of 1960's concerts
DH and I just bought a fancy new video camera that allows up to upload to FB, YouTube, etc. So, if he learns how to work it by tomorrow, I'll upload videos of our performances.
Vickie, good luck with your crisis. Nancy, I just bet that doggie is sleepy
Sloan!!!!!! Hi there, girlfriend! It's so good to see you here. I am needing to get back onto that wagon, too, and I have no excuse for what I've been doing.
Ems, last night helped get us into the Christmas spirit. We went to our granddaughter's school's Christmas Concert. Lots of fun!
Nancy, we just finished a bag of Fritos. Life goes on. I'm glad your heart is all right.
Had a busy day today. Physical therapy at 7:30. School. Funeral at 12 ( my brother's FIL). Back to school. Mom called to tell me a dog had bitten her! Off to her house to check on her and call the doc. Off to pharmacy to pick up antibiotics. Dinner. Finished Bible study lesson. Phew!
Sorry I was MIA yesterday as I had a to go to church for mass & than to Christmas luncheon, and than to a wake. Now this morning I have a funeral to go to and than out to lunch with Rita.
Had a lot of things to do,and with my hip I'm as slow as a snail. Got a gift for the Church's Christmas Giving Tree and brought my plastic bags back to the store to be recycled, and now this afternoon I'm going to decorate my living-room. No out side or window lights as I'm afraid I will fall, and not being here for Christmas it silly to decorate. If I had company it would be a different story.
VICKIE-I think the Care One is Stop & Shops own brand, the pharmacist that I go to recommended me to use it as it ts the same as the Tylonal extra strength but only cheaper. Right none of them are working. I think I need something stronger.
PAM-Its a busy time of the year,I haven't been on the board that much either. Arthritis is bad up here everyone I know has it as it gets so damp my fingers are now are hard to open and close. Hope the cortisone will hope on my hip so I won't have to suffer going down to my DD on Christmas.
EMS-I will let you know,my reg doc told me hat the MRI told him but I still want my orthopedic doctor to tell me whats treatment hes going to use on me, other than the cortisone.
SLOANE-Happy to see you posting again miss the old guys,Wondered what ever happened to CoCo,she left a long time ago ,but I like her post.
Sloan, I hope your mom is all right. Did it break the skin? Was she hurt badly?
Maryann, you sound busy. I went to Ladies' Bible Class last Wednesday as a visitor. I may go again even if we don't join this church. I'm not sure yet.
We met friends this morning at a local archery shop. Then we went to Subway for lunch. Life is good.
Sloan, hope your mom is ok. Did you know that dog bites are one of the biggest problems that people come to the ER with? Never saw that on House or ER!
Sandra, I'm sorry your team lost. But, that's almost a tie!
The morning tapping went OK. I didn't make any huge bloopers, but one of the tappers did. She's also a very "proud" person so I'm sure she's suffering. DH was able to record most of the performance, but I've got to learn to edit and how to share.
Bye, more tapping tonight And, then, we're finished for the season!!
I went by my mom's and re-dressed her leg. The bite did break the skin, but it is more like scrapes than punctures. Today the wounds look good. No redness at all. I'm glad we started the antibiotics yesterday. Interesting tidbit, Rhonda. Thanks for askin' about her, y'all.
Rhonda, wish they had a video so we could see you in action. I love watching stuff like that.
Maryann, hope they can fix you up for your trip.
nothing new to report at this end.
hi Sloanie, good to see you back.
Sandra, subway sounds good. We've been trying to walk everyday. It really helps my husband glucose level. Amazing what a little exercise can do for that. Of course it's not helped me one bit. Still dragging that excess weight around. I will be happy when he can speed it up a bit. If I was by myself, I would walk much faster.
