Default Low(er)-Carb Pescetarian/Vegetarian?

Hello forum! I've very recently turned pescetarian for environmental reasons and I'm wondering how I can successfully have a low-carb or lower-carb lifestyle and avoid eating mammals and birds.

Anyone else in the same boat? Maybe we could swap ideas and recipes!

OK, I had to look that up. I think it's totally doable, since you are including seafood. Just beware of the "imitation" seafood slike crab - usually carby, and choose lower carb veggies. Do you include eggs? I didn't see if your diet would or not. If you can, they are also a fair source of protein, portable, easy to make.

Another option for you might be south beach. It seems like it would fit your preferences a little better and it's still a low carb phase diet like Atkins.

Oh yes, I don't think I could survive without eggs! I'm also including nuts and seeds in my diet for a source of good fats. What's this South Beach diet? Do you have any links to recommend?
I feel so lost!

I do eat chicken but usually once a week or so, not much. I eat a lot of fish and eggs. I really like tuna patties with one can of tuna, one egg, pepper, garlic salt, rosemary and thyme. I make patties and cook each side in butter until it's brown. I top it with mayonnaise but sour cream works too. You can also put shredded cheese in it but that does add to the calories and seems to make it a little more mushy. Adding cheese on top works better, in my opinion.
