Hey Neon!!
Awesome job on your certification!! And the job market plain sucks right now!! Boo!!! But rejoice in the fact that you now have two incomes!!! I know that takes a load of pressure off you!!!! Sorry to hear about your sister, . I weigh in "offically" on Fridays also. So excited about weigh in ... hope I keep my losses. I had to weigh fully clothed this morning because I was running way late and weighed in (with clothes) at 313.2, so I am hoping to hit 312.something for my "official" weigh in!!! I love, LoVe, LOVE seeing the scale go down, and I am at the beginning of my journey so that helps the lbs fall off. I know it is going to slow down soon, but I am really enjoying it go down. But when the stalls start comming I am going to keep telling myself if I do the right thing, and count my calories, and do my walking, even if the scale does not go down, it WILL eventually, and maybe even owe me a lb. or two!! And I have heard a lot of people say to take measurements, because some times you lose inches and not pounds. Do not have a measuring tape yet. That is on my list. Along with a food scale and an ElIpTiCaL!!! Hope you have a GrEaT DaY!!!

It turned out to be 4lbs I lost from Monday to Friday!!! TOM has arrived after over 2 months being absent...feel AFUL BUT on the plus side my band is tight and I only managed half a tea (side plate- about 6"-7" across) of chicken and salad! I'm saving it for later IF I'm hungry otherwise it's dog-bound! lol He loves veg!
Hope you are all having a good week-end!
xxxx sharon
ps Wore my size 18 black jeans & a mate who hasn't seen me since before the op was saying how 'slim' I looked! It made my day, even though at 265lbs NO ONE can look slim, lol!!

Good Morning Ladies!!!
Awesome job Sharon ... 4lbs. is AwEsOmE!!! And getting into those size 18's is even better. I would love to be able to wear a size 18 right now. I am sure once I get there though I will just be itching for those size 16's, LOL!!! But for right now it sounds fan-freakin-tastic!!!!

Thanks Determined & Lynnie! I'm not happy, I got on the scales & they said I'd GAINED 8lbs!!!! I know I swell during TOM but this is CRAZY!!! I hope it's gone for tomorrow as it's weigh-in day! Anyone else gain a lot during TOM? I did weigh in my undies first thing in the morning as usual so I know it's only TOM that's causing this.
xxxxx sharon

I just recently started weighing myself, and have not been through TOM yet, but I have heard many say that the scale is the most evil thing in the world that week. Its just water ... your body will release it!! Just keep pushing foward, you are doing great!! Once your water releases I am sure you may be pleasantly surprised with a loss!!!

Oh sharon!! I just wanna hug you gently and let you know it'll be ok. That evil evil TOM!! Just say his name and I understand completely.

Hang in there, you'll be ok. The water weight will disappear.

Also, give your body time to adjust. It's been through major surgery and it takes time to get all that anesthetic out from your body. It's harder to get rid of in bigger people because it's retained by fat cells.

Hugs,
Ratkity
