Funny that you mentioned the elevation as I also like to look at it after a walk - one hill around here has an elevation of 64 metres (209 feet) and that's only about 3/4's of the way up as I take a turn off there - it's a dead end street so there is definitely no motivation for me to get to the end lol.. that would be close to the worst one though (although the others are all similar in height) so I really shouldn't complain. Great job getting out for your walk, it's great you'll be able to see your progress on the run keeper, we've been talking lately about how we used to have to stop going up our hill. We have a loop that goes down down our property and up our neighbors', or vice versa, it's a little under a mile and definitely a challenge. I like to look at the elevation on the run keeper after a walk, also motivating!I bought a treadmill this afternoon, I've been looking for a second hand one for a while as I didn't want to spend a fortune only to find out that I don't like it. I got a great buy on a heavy duty one and the guy even delivered it for me which meant that I've now had two walks today - one with the dogs this morning and another on the treadmill tonight. I'll still try and walk outside with the dogs when I can but I've often had to walk at night and even though I have the dogs I don't feel safe as part of the area that I walk in is a rural area without street lights or foot paths etc so the treadmill means that when I get home from work late I have no excuse not to walk!
