Talking Banana "Ice Cream!"

Curb your sweets cravings with Banana "Ice Cream!"

What you need:
-A blender
-2 Bananas
-Skim Milk
-Vanilla Extract (I like almond extract)
Optional:
-Chocolate Chips
-Peanut Butter

Blend together and freeze until slightly firm. Delicious.

Sounds yummy! Freezing a banana with chocolate syrup or sugar free chocolate syrup to make a "monkey tail" is delicious too!

I do this alot....I don't really measure. I cut up a banana add a little homeade s/f chocolate syrup and unsweetened almond milk. I just blend until it looks the right consistantcy. I only use 1 banana though.

So what is the "right consistency" to get in the blender? Thick? Thin? Like ice cream? This sounds delicious and I like the idea of the almond milk!

Ok, I tried this. I don't like the color. And it had a funny taste. Almost like it had cinnamon in it????

I found a website that gave another way to make it: cut the bananas into 1 inch pieces and freeze them for 1 hour. Then chop them in a food processor with just enough milk to make it look like soft serve.

I made this today and it was fantastic! I used a small frozen banana, spoonful of dry sugar-free fat-free butterscotch pudding, spoonful of almond butter, and a spoonful of greek yogurt. Soooo delicious and rich!
