Thanks, again, Christine----it worked! I just wish there was a way to change the from "pounds" to "sizes." I put a note on my ticker, but there is a default to "pounds," so it seems as if I've only lost 2 lbs. when I've really lost about 10 (I'm estimating; I'm trying to stay away from the scale this time around).

Esofia: I don't have a digital scale (sad face). I use the plain ol' mechanical scale. So yes there are probably are fluctuations, but I just can't see them on my scale. Now that I think about it, maybe it's better I can't see them. I think if I had a digital scale I would be obsessing over the numbers to the right of the decimal point! Haha. Oh and also I don't go anywhere near the scale for those five days that I'm on my period.

Time2GetFine: Really, you can't get your ticker until you've been a member 20 days AND have written 20 posts? I didn't have 20 posts when I created my ticker. Heck, I still don't have 20! :-p

I've never bothered to get a ticker, never felt the need to have one. I still managed to lose the weight without a ticker.

But I am very glad that 3fc has those requirements - it certainly cuts down on the spammers here.

Awesome! I am glad you were able to do it. Congrats, by the way, on the loss! I am also staying away from the scale for now. I am using sizes as well (for the time being) as a means to measure success. Actually I will be weighed when I go to the doc on Friday so I will start there with weighing in regularly. I needed to stay away the past 2 months because I knew the number would frighten me and discourage me. I am ready to face it now that I've lost some. I have an idea of how much I probably weigh based solely on my clothes.

I just attempted to make one. Let's see if it worked!

My loss is too slow to bother with it every day.

But I do use it as an enforcement tool. Normally I update it on Mondays, and then fight the rest of the week not to gain anything. Then I cut back my intake a bit on the weekend, and shoot for chipping off a little more weight for the subsequent Monday recording.

I love updating my ticker, it thrills me to see the scale moving past the frowny face.

I also love updating my ticker! It doesn't happen often because I'm a slow loser but it sure is fun when it does happen.

Oh, and my weight fluctuates like crazy and I definitely don't feel like it's cheating to keep it at it's low number. It's just the way my body is, so I don't let it stress me out.

At the moment, I am very fixated on my ticker, lol! I am near or at goal -- I've seen the number but I don't usually update until I'm sure it's the normal number for me. But today is the last day of September and it was my goal to reach it by now. So, if I still weigh in at 129 tomorrow, I am going to update it!

I love my ticker so much I have 3 of them! lolol! One to track my overall progress, a second one for various days on plan challenges and a brand new one I just add today that is going to take me to Onederland!

I update them once a week, after my "official" WI on Sundays. I do jump on the scale other days, just to see what the trend is like but so far, I haven't changed them any other day. But maybe, if getting to Onederland doesn't occur on a Sunday.....
