I sometimes hear people refer to me as tiny. I automatically turn my head to see who they are talking to.
When I am at the mall and walking along I see the reflection of a slim woman and do a doubletake , it's me ! I am so used to seeing myself looking like a blimp that now it is hard to grasp, I know it intellectually and know I wear smaller size clothes but haven't gotten used to seeing myself smaller. I'll take it, though.

Bargoo, when you do the doubletake at your reflection, do you smile? I hope so. Congrats.

I'm reaching my goal weight (13 pounds) and I think I might have to lower my goal because I just still feel huge!

This happens to me too. I don't recognize myself in the mirror when I'm glancing out of the corner of my eye.

I also don't recognize myself in photos sometimes.

I feel like I haven't been thin in forever. I just look in the mirror and see if I'm satisfied with myself. I feel good about the way I look and tend to just go by that.

It's all about feeling. Be happy about the achievements you've made so far and be less negative about what you "want". Letting go of the little details can make a person's self-esteem increase by miles.
