I am almost in tears for those of you who have met your goals. I am so happy for you all. I can't believe how different people look as they lost weight. It's hard for me to look into the mirror and see myself at the weight I am at. I use to be a lean 145 pounds in high school. And here I sit at 215. But seeing you beautiful women achieve your goals gives me hope that someday I will be able to post my story on here with the rest of you. You are all very inspiring. Thank you for sharing your stories. *high fives everyone* <3

I third this post.

Congratulations to all your beautiful men and women who have lost, and even the beautiful mean and women who are just beginning their journey. I have faith in you.

Thank you so much 3FC and the crew that started it.

And to the mods who do such a great job.

Totally in agreement. This forum has taught me that I'm not alone in my battles, and that many of the same things that are happening to me are actually happening to others too. I can't wait to get my goal up here with the rest of these inspirational men and women!

Doomcookie: I totally agree. I was in the 130's-140's in HS then a lil over 10 yrs later (and 2 kids later) a 100lbs more. It sux. There are hard days. But, I also like to go through the sucess stories and stop for a moment to say: "They did it. I can too." We will. I will post my story and pics (which I now hide from) for all to see so one day, someone in our place now will look at them and think that they can do it too.

I'm not going to lie, I actually do cry when I look at them. Like others have said it helps you believe that you can do it too. Without seeing that others have done, I'm not sure that I would believe it's possible. Looking forward to my day to post my success pictures and joining the maintaining forum

Before I ever even signed up on here, I would come and lurk and just read through all of the "GOAL" threads! They are always so inspiring and I always had/have a huge smile on my face when I read them. I still read them and cannot wait to be able to post mine as well! We will all have our turn and be able to help others with our hard work!

Yes the goal threads are so inspiring; I always read them.
The reason I like the 3FC forum so much is all of the people's stories; how imperfect we all are and yet still producing such amazing results.
I don't look at these results and think, Oh it's impossible. It makes me believe that I can do it too.

I agree, I look at at least one a day since starting it really helps when the bad food is calling!

Yes! This is exactly how I feel. I also lurked here before I even signed up. I was scared to sign up. But lurking before and after signing up has really helped me. Not sure if I'd have been as successful so far without the reading here. And look at me now, I might even break 20 posts!

Thanks for the help right when I needed it!

Been said before, but I agree too...seeing the pounds some have shed has really motivated me to try a bit harder. If they can do it...some have lost more than I weigh right now....then I have NO excuse why I "can't"! Thank you all for the encouragement!

Ditto . . . What you've all said!

Doomcookie05, thanks for reminding us of the choices we have and the great examples of others who share our efforts to become fit and healthy. Love your gratitude (and your screen name!).

Hugs to all,
Jean
