You can do it! Just plug away, day after day. I have several little ones, including my eight month old, hanging around, and I have personally found that while I love exercise, trying to focus on both that and my eating plan can be mentally too taxing, so I focus just on my calorie intake and any exercise is a sweet bonus. I make time for it, but feel no shame in putting that block in the afternoon aside for a nap or reading a book, either.
I'm down about 20 pounds from my postpartum weight and about 80 from my all-time high. Life constantly gets in the way of ideal weight loss, it's been about a three year process. All I can say is that, knowing that kids are busy and stressful, thongs won't be perfect and I CAN'T give up. If you do it long enough, it does indeed become second nature and doesnt take much more mental energy than the overeating I was doing before.
Your mileage may vary, but the best way I have found yo get out of weight doldrums is *dun dun DUN* losing my way out of them
So simple, but not necessarily easy
