I have had loads of crazy comments, ranging from "Are you ill?" To "There's no way you could have lost 143lbs without a gastric bypass " (Diet and exercise perhaps???) But the best was my colleague who when I told her I was going for an interview piped up "Good job you lost the weight, they wouldn't have taken you fat !!" (They didn't take me thin, as it happens )
People never cease to astound me with the things they say - truly !
My personal favorite is something my boyfriend's friends ask him:
"How did you make your girlfriend lose all that weight?"
He actually got really mad at that, which is why I love the guy. His response was "When was the last time you MADE your girlfriend do anything? She does what she wants."
I've gotten comments like you should stop, why are you dieting, or you're going to disappear. Trust me I'm 5'4 and pear shaped my thighs are a reminder that I'm still here. Believe it or not the ones that irk me are the you look good you should stop. Every pear shaped women knows that achieving a stream lined look takes a lot of effort and fat loss 130 is not where I want to be.
