Cyndi, sounds like a great spring day. We ate ice cream and sat by the bay in Brooklyn - it was worth it to go off plan for that.

Good morning

Karen - Safe travels to you.

Mathilda - Sounds like a perfect spring afternoon

Today is the usual weekend day - cleaning, cooking and maybe a little lawn clean-up. There was so much snow and wind this winter that our yard is a mess! DW also wants to go out for a short bird walk this morning. Not sure if I will do that or take my bike out this afternoon. I have too many chores to do both after yesterday's play day.

Hm, I wonder if it will be warm enough for wine on the porch after chores and exercise are done?

Good morning. Sun is shining and the temperatures will be good. After Church, I just may get into my gardening duds and work up the raised bed so I can plant my peas. It's supposed to rain tonight so the timing will be right. I have another busy week ahead so it'll be nice to get the garden a tiny bit started.

Enjoy your day but keep in mind it's supposed to be a day of rest and take some "me" time.

Karen, have a safe and productive trip, and toss a little fun in there, too.

It sounds like yesterday was a pretty nice for all. I planted a flat of primroses in the front garden and made a pretty arrangement of black petunias, yellow nemesia, and mauve pansies in a large pot for the front porch. It looks great surrounded by the other pots of colorful pansies and I feel quite clever with how it all looks. The soil in the vegetable garden was still too wet to plant anything in yesterday, but I think I'll be able to plant my chard, spinach and lettuces today.

I'm having a big family dinner this evening, so I'd better fit a bit of dusting and vacuuming into the day.

I hope your Sunday is full of sunshine!

Hey everyone,
Just checking in. On tap for today is church, then I'll go to the office for a couple of hours to catch up since I was out on Thursday and Friday. I hate starting Mondays behind the 8 ball. Tonight, just planning to watch Ruby. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning!!

I am up way to early. Oh well, at least it lets me get a start on the day. Today I have a baby shower. Another day of saying no to the cake. Which will be easy!

Have a great day!!

Gracious - you miss one day here and there is so much to catch up on!

Spent the day yesterday coaching my teenagers in a huge Ultimate tournament - left the house at 7 and got home over 12 hours later. The weather was PERFECT (after having rained for EVER Friday). 25 teams of kids having a great day of competition - it was awesome.

It sounds as though most of you were doing lovely relaxing things yesterday - makes me happy to read it. Any time any of you gardeining-types want to come help my yard, you just let me know.

Today has to include a serious food shopping trip - DH went out and bought "everything we needed, honey" - except the V8, greek yogurt, romaine, mushrooms, tomatoes, turkey pepperoni . . . you get the idea!

Has anyone ever done the Circle Line Harbor Cruise in New York? DD turns 11 next week, and we want to take her for her family celebration - any info is much appreciated.

Here's to everyone having a great day.

Be well -

Howdy everyone, just time enough to check in and make sure everyone is doing alright. Sprained ankle is a bit better so I'm on my way back to walking again. DH and I went out for breakfast this morning and I had a egg scramble with spinach, blk olives, onions with a small side of fresh fruit. Nothing else except coffee. Felt good about it. Now we are back home and I need to get some house chores done. Hope everyone has a great relaxing day and stays on plan or close to it anyway.
