Chicken Korma sounds good. I had tortillas with chicken and tomato puree and lettuce. Was really nice.

Salad (french salad leaves, red pepper, red onion, cucumber and beetroot) with corn on the cob and a wholemeal roll. And then a little bit of lemon sorbet. Very basic, very easy, but very satisfying in the warm weather.

I'm having soy glazed salmon with Jacket potato, brocolli, green beans and cauliflower. Yum Yum Yum!

Some great meal ideas on this thread

Probably miso soup with Thai red rice, tofu and assorted veg. I've had a crappy weekend and this will be me getting back to cooking properly. Not to mention that the veg need used up.

I have finally come up with a theory as to why southerners tend to eat supper/dinner/tea/whatever you call the evening meal later than northeners do (Londoner living in Scotland, my partner's a Scot). I'm sure there are a few factors, but one will be commuting in London. The distance you travel simply means that you won't be home that early to eat!

I'm finding it really hard to get to grips with the early eating here in Yorkshire. Even though I'm born and bred, I got used to eating later when I lived away from home, and being back it's a real shock to the system to get my head around 5pm tea!

The problem with eating early is that it's a long time until breakfast!
