Default Hi everyone, newbie here lookin for support!

Hi everyone on 3fc, ive been looking through this site for a while now and decided it was time i introduced myself! i had a baby 4 months ago and i want to lose all the baby weight, i develop severe SPD everytime im pregnant which basically renders me sofa bound and this time round (i have 3 kids) i moved to glasgow from my native manchester so i comfort ate for months as i miss all my family and friends very much.
So by the end i was just this big fat blubbering mess lying on the couch all day eating, i ended up weighing myself 5 days after giving birth and i was not so shocked to find i was 15st! and on my small 5'3" frame thats never good!
anyway i had managed to get a stone off once i had stopped breastfeeding, then fell of the wagon again for a while lol! i started the south beach diet 2 1/2 weeks ago and im now down to 13st 3lbs.
Ive now tweaked my diet to include more fruits but still off the "bad carbs" as bread makes me bloat up anyway, i have a treadmill at home and im interval training every other day as well as doing situps, tricep dips and lift weights everyday, all that on top of running a house with 3 kids (4 if you include my hubby lol) i just want to be back to my old self by summer, i have a wardrobe full gorgeous clothes i just cant wear, not to mention the shoes!
Well thats a bit about me, thanks for taking the time to read (i know it was a bit of a novel lol) and i hope i can make new weight loss buddies! x

welcome ...
I'm new here too.
the third day I was on a diet and I have to tell you that this forum is something magic.
when I want to eat the whole fridge,I just turn on the laptop and look for motivation in this forum

great thing is that you have the treadmill, I'm too heavy and so far only a walk, I simply have no power to run

hey mummyof3. You are doing so well already especially fitting everything in around having kids, a baby, husband, house etc. My boys are older but it is still hard juggling everything and working full time and trying to fit in exercise and making time to prepare healthy meals. I have found loads of encouragement and support on this site that have helped me stay on track for the last 9 weeks. Good luck to you

thanks for your words of support girls!

lovely555, i agree its very handy having the treadmill in the house, i have absolutely no time to get to the gym, i havent got anyone to look after my youngest 2 during the day and by the evening im far too knackered lol! and yes im finding that everyone seems to be so supportive on here and the success stories are so inspirational.

tamara72 i am finding it difficult to fit things in, but the time i get to work out in the day is the only time i get for myself! i too seem to spend most of time in the kitchen, my hubby is on the diet also, so to keep him interested i have to come up with different meal ideas everyday and that in itself is a challenge lol! i know i will get to my goal, ive done it twice already (after having my older 2) its just that im very aware of the impending summer (such as it is in this country!)i have some lovely summer dresses in my wardrobe but they are all size 10/12 which im no where near yet!

how are you both finding this journey anyway? sweeties and cakes are main downfall how about you?

It is getting easier I think I have problems with binge eating but have managed 66 days without binging. The first couple of weeks were difficult and all I could think about was food but I find that the cravings are happening less and less now and I feel more able to cope with them. My downfall has usually been salty food, cheese, bread and to be honest whatever is in the fridge. I now stick to a meal plan and avoid what I call my trigger foods and so far so good
