good job cat!

So far I am down 1lb this month. I will weigh in a day or two and hopefully see a nice friendly number. Really need to add in more strength training and get in more water. I hate drinking water in winter but it has to be done.

7.75 miles and 70mins strength training so far so good. On my way to get in a real good workout tonight and get to bed by 10pm...crossin my fingers

Going to start to take my measurements every friday hopefully it will calm my nerves when the scales does not move the way I feel it should

Did 9.5 miles and 7 hours of workout time just this week! Managed to get a workout in everyday since Sunday not sure where my drive came from, but I'm hoping it'll stay for the rest of the month!

Down 3 1/4" since Monday which is fantastic I've been working my butt off this week!

How's everyones month going?

Valentines Day is Monday too much chocolate in the house already...haven't touched any yet

cat - I hear you on the beer it's hard we used to have beer in the house all the time and it always called my name My husband has switched to red wine for now, which I don't really like so I'm safe for the time being

Anyone have any tasty recipes for desserts that are not absolutely horrible for calories/fat/sugar? My b-day is next week and I'm having dinner with the family, I thought maybe if I made a dessert and just had a little tiny portion it would be a little more guilt free...Any suggestions?

Sorry I haven't been here for a while, the last two weeks I've only lost 0.6lbs! Not sure why as I'm really trying, just doesn't seem to be happening at the mo.

Hang in there Starbucks, it will start coming off again, have a good day. I've not had the best of weekends, my hormones have been horrendous and I've really scoffed, feeling a bit pissed off with myself but going to get back on track today and forget about it.

Have a great week slim chicks

Hey Ladies! Thanks cat I tried the sugar free jello with dream whip it was super tasty
Today is a bit crudy lost my car to a screw haha They finally called the tire is now all fixed and good as new so now to walk back and pick it up. Too bad they called after I picked up Ethan he's not going to want to walk there it's still kinda chilly but it's warmed up to -12 so yay
I was doing very well and really I still am because of the extra workouts but it's wearing me down. So I need to get back to planning out my meals since I've been so busy lately. That way I can stick to a normal excercise routine and not kill myself doing extra workouts.
I'm with you cat we can do this
We moved last year to a lake community and for the beginning of the summer I felt okay, but by the end of summer I was up a size. I missed the last three weeks of water weather because I wouldn't put on my swim suit I am determined to need a new swim suit this year but one smaller in size
So this month rather than aiming for perfection, I am going to aim to be little bit better than yesterday. I am going to remember that success is a journey! I am going to focus on the process and not dwell on how far off my goal is...and any little hicups I encounter along the way

Hello! I haven't posted in a long while (so many things going on in the past month+... deaths, weddings, new job title...), but I've finally settled back into regular life and have the time to do luxury things - like post about my weight on 3FC! Can I just say I love the explosion of emoticons on these posts? Those silly little pictures just make me laugh, they're so darn cute! I must be a 5 year old at heart...

Anyway, GREAT to be back in the world of motivation and health-minded ladies. I'm back to counting calories, 1200-1400 with exercise most days. The good thing is that I did keep off the 3lb loss from a 1 1/2 months ago, which makes me happy because I feel like it's "real" weight I lost. So, again at 152, working on 2lb for the rest of this month. Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Welcome back Missjessica! Glad you are back and have a plan
I am counting calories too using fitday I can't manage it on my own it's way to hard! I like that it tracks exercise also but I think it goes a tiny bit over the top you can find out how many calories you burn doing anything like the dishes or laundry haha

Well Feb food wise was good then not good so for March I'm trying really hard to make sure I eat 3 meals and snacks. When work gets busy I skip meals and snacks to save time..not such a good idea last week was horrid I input my food I was so busy I wasn't really paying attention. I went back and checked over the weekend, most days I wasn't getting more than 1100cals! I was exhausted all week I tried to get in workouts, but I was so tired I couldn't figure out why it was a blonde week

Awe, thanks! I use an app also, my.fitness.pal. on my phone. It's sooo much faster than a pencil/paper and faster = I will actually do it

I hear you on the low cals! I've been sticking to 1200 and exercising hard on top of that, but I've been zonked the days I don't make at least 1200. For now, I'm going to have hi/low days - 1200 on lazy days and 1400 on exercise days

Good luck planning meals this week! Gotta fuel all that housework
