Question Smoked Paprika & Other Interesting Finds On The Net

Where do/did you buy smoked paprika on the net?

Do you have any other favorite places on the net for interesting finds?

Thank you

Try spiceituponline.com or Amazon - I usually use Penzeys for my weird/odd/unique spices I can't find anywhere else, but surprisingly they don't have smoked paprika for sale

I got mine at Amazon. I do a fair amount of grocery shopping there, believe it or not. I can find things I can't get locally and the Subscribe and Save is often a really good deal (and I do love a bargain).

Awe, I love different spices and the more unusual the better. I can see where my mad money will be going this February. This will be my Valentine's Day gift to me!

I buy from Atlantic Spice Company, on the Outer Cape, whenever I'm in Cape Cod during the summer.

They also do mail order but I love going in there & tend to buy in person rather than online.

Other sources are Penzey's in Grand Central Terminal Market and Kalustyan's, which isn't far from the E. 28th Street stop on the No. 6. Both have an online presence.

I'll link to the lesser-known. Kalustyan's is here:

I've also bought spices on eBay.

Another interesting source has been the tiny gourmet food sections in TJ Maxx, Marshall's and Home Goods.

I like to order from My Spice Sage. It's an interesting site, and they always have some kind of special. I got free vanilla beans with my last order. I also like the fact that I can get my spices in very small quantities, since I live alone. They have some great blends, too.

What do you do with your smoked paprika? I love it with kale.

I have seen Rachel Ray use smoked paprika in her stews and meat dishes. So, I haven't used it yet. Can't wait for my order to get here.

Thank you all for giving me these sites to visit.

If you have any other favorite places for "cooking" things please share. OR other favorite food places, gadgets, etc.

BTW, I use smoked paprika:
- Mixed with olive oil, into a paste (add a bit of salt, if you aren't trying to reduce salt intake), which I spread on fish or chicken breasts
- In Gypsy Soup, a chickpea & sweet potato vegetable soup
- With garlic powder & a bit of cumin & a squeeze of lemon juice, when sauteeing spinach
- Sprinkled on roasted veggies, whenever I'm trying for a kind of barbequed potato chip flavoring

Thanks so much for this one. They ship internationally! And they have several things I've been looking for but can't find.
