The new look compliments the new you
I would like to just put out there that if anyone else is considering cutting +8 - 10 inches of hair please talk to your stylist about donating to Locks Of Love. A charity that makes wigs for kids who have lost their hair due to illness.
Lovely! Have you considered henna, if you're interested in going red? You need to get body art quality, and you should go to a good henna/hair website and read up on how to do it properly, but it's easy, fun and produces fabulous results (including keeping the natural variation in hair colour, so that you get real depth). Of course, I think your hair is a glorious colour now, but you could easily carry off various shades of red, including just a tint if you wanted.
I'm laughing that you called your hair long before, because last time I did a major chop on my hair I thought it was terribly short - and I'd cut it to waist length!
I have come to learn in the past few years that hair is not nearly as important as I once thought.
As you can see by my pic, I am bald right now. I have been 4-5 times in the past 3 years. Multiple brain surgeries are the cause. I was very upset at the thought of my hair being shaved off, at first. Now, I see that beauty truly does come from within. If you feel good about yourself, you will radiate beauty.
As others have said, with longer or short hair, you are lovely.
