A one day diet solution workshop for dieters, professionals, and others who work with dieters.
A word from Dr. Beck:

It's hard to stick to a diet, especially if one has never learned how to change fundamental thoughts about food, eating and the self. Typically, unhelpful thoughts about hunger, craving, unfairness and deprivation get in the way, and it can be challenging to deal with emotional eating, disappointment, discouragement, and stressful times.

This workshop is based on The Complete Beck Diet for Life and The Beck Diet Solution. I wrote both these books to teach dieters how to diet, for example, how to create a flexible and healthy eating plan that can be followed for life, and how to quickly get back on track following a lapse.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to make lifetime changes in thinking in order to make permanent changes in eating behavior. Practical, useful techniques will be demonstrated by roleplaying with volunteers from the audience.

I always tell dieters: "It's not your fault that you've had trouble in the past. You never learned how to diet. This time will be different."
