Take tupper ware with you, this is what I aim to do but I always forget!
You may get funny looks as its not really in British culture to take a 'doggy' bag home but its quite normal in other places, I remember being in Boston at a seafood restaurant and the table next to us bagged up some fish and lobster! Don't know how they managed that as its so slimy and wet!

Hi,
I am sorry that I am a bit late to this party, but if any one is still reading, I would recommend Nandos. I like it for family meals because each person can order as much or as little as they like. Essentially its all barbecued chicken, and then you can add chips, sweetcorn, salad or coleslaw. My ( thin ) kids and husband have a large portion of chicken and chips and coleslaw, and I can have a small portion of chicken and salad, and we are all happy.

I have to admit my real downfall is Pizza, and so I have sworn off it for 2011, but at least with Nandos we can eat out as a family and I dont feel the rest of the family is suffering too much for my dieting.
