Default cleaning produce with hydrogen peroxide??

http://www.susiej.com/index.php/how-...nd-vegetables/

Sorry for all the posts, but does this really work? Cleaning produce with the hydrogen peroxide and white vinegar? I'm not good with measuring, so how do you know the right amount to use? What is 3%?

I've always read that fruit and vegetable washes for home use aren't any better than plain, running tap water.

I use a fruit & veggie wash that I get at Trader Joes, its a spray and by the smell I'd guess it has an orange oil base. Its all natural. If its something I am going to peel like a potato, orange, apple ect I just wash it with dish soap.....I wash my dishes with it after all!

i don't understand why people apologize for posting often. i've seen other people do it too. i already annoy people by talking too much and can't shut up about all the topics of getting healthier/fitter in real life. this is where we speak our mind, vent, celebrate. we shouldn't feel selfconscious that people think we're 'talking' too much. talk all you want! i'm happy to hear it!

I apologize for everything. It's just something that I've always done. I apologize even when it's unnecessary. lol. I've never used any kind of vegetable wash. Are any good at making nonorganic less unhealthy?

I wash all my stuff with dish soap...grapes, produce, i figure that will get the pesticides off....unfortunately something new I never even realized that pesticides go right through some fruits and veggies, and get absorbed so sadly even when we wash them it is still in them

idk. we can eat more food with natural protection- bananas, melons(wash the rind), citrus, cabbage might be one...can't think of the rest. some veggies/fruits don't need alot of pesticide. i try to comparison shop. often in the grocery store, salad is close to the same price. organic or not. so i've gotten organic a few times. also, it often lasts longer than reg. greens/lettuce. that alone makes it worth it sometimes lol. i rarely buy the typical bags now. they go bad too quickly. i get romaine heads or spinach most often.

I'm more concerned with the person who just scratched his butt and then touched my produce.
