Afternoon all--
Sherrie--I know what you COULD be doing.....picking out the chicken accesories!! I would personally like the fishnet hose please and .......let's see.....at least 3 inch heels, that would put me straight through the ceiling I'm sure as I am already 5'11-heeeeheeeheee!!!

Well, today was ANOTHER failure, I ended up having to pick up odd at school, and take her to the Dr.--the school nurse called and thought she had pink eye--well, it isn't pink-eye yet-but that may be where it is heading, conjunctivitis is what he is calling it for now. Anyway, we were half starved so I took us to Captain D's which is a little like Long John Silvers-but not quite as greasy-I had 2 pieces of breaded fish and a couple french fries soooooo--when will it all end?? I know-I know--when I quit being a

Oh my!!! Let's just say dh woke up with the same thought on his mind this morning! hmmmmph!

Well chickies - I've been missing in action for a few weeks for several reasons. The biggest being that DD and (4) grandbabies were here for an unplanned "visit" from England. It was necessary for them to return to the states in order to renew their visas and receive their permanent residency ones. I was able to visit with them for the past three weeks. They returned to England on Monday-needless to say, many tears as I know I won't see them for at least another year. But I am glad that they are happy and doing so well. DD has a very nice man in her life and they plan to wed very soon.

I had my presurgery plastic surgeon meeting this morning. The procedures are now scheduled for Thurs., March 20. I can't tell you how terrified I am but have been praying and plan on having the TT & lipo done. Please say a little prayer for me. After what I went thru with the breast reduction I sure need to get this fear of dieing on the table out of my head!

Other than that life around here is crazy as usual.

Janice, great to see you and I sure will be sending all the good stuff your way on the 20th. Glad you got to see dd and the grand kids and that they are doing well. My appointment went well....I'll write about it on the surgery board some time this evening or tomorrow...but it was good.

Consider me floored. Dr. S does my exam and looks at me with all seriousness and says, "There's the possibility that you could be pregnant." WHAT??????????????????????????????????????

"What I meant to say is that I can't be certain until 2 weeks so will you please take a pregnancy test before I give you these new pills?" I'm still floored, so I'm looking at him all goggle eyed and ask what the **** he means by that, as I have been on this blasted shot since 6 months ago. To which he replies, "There's no physical evidence, don't worry, I just have to make certain."

Well, excuse me, but could you have possibly worded it a tad differently? HELLO! So he's all apologetic and confused and has NO IDEA what is wrong with me, but he thinks this time he can really help me with this new pill. Hmph. Methinks it's time for another doc. 3 months from now, no relief, no more Dr. S.

I don't know what made me laugh the hardest. The title of this thread or RIO's ROTFPIMP. So now we have humping pimps here?
Sherrie, I think you need to get a new doctor PDQ. This one is going to drive you to drink....or cookies which would be even worse.
We've had pi**ing rain most of the week so far and it doesn't look like there will be any letup in the near future. On the plus side, the temperature is hovering in the low 50Fs which is making most of the spring blooms show signs of life. The crocuses won't open up when the days are so dark though. Just knowing they're there waiting for the sunshine is a blessing though.
Today I took my friend to my daughter's home salon for a trim. She has just moved into the new salon that dh made for her out of their former carport. She did all the painting and decorating herself though and I'm real impressed with the light, airy look of it. The walls are a soft, sage green and the trim is white. She's draped white eyelet lace over some decorative rods and in the tiny bathroom, she's painted trellis and stencilled flowers. Very pretty. Anyhow, I've been scalped again with sort of spikes but not as short as last year anyhow.
Not much else new around here. I'm still struggling to have one complete OP day.
