I started this challenge on September 4, the night after I decided that I could not gain another ounce. I was so tired of feeling the way I did. I got on line that Saturday morning, saw this thread, and had to sign up.
This challenge has helped keep me focused and accountablility (didn't want to be a challenge dropout

I original wanted to lose 24 lbs by Christmas (today) and thought it might be a long shot even though it was only 1-1/2 lbs per week. When I surpassed my goal of 263 lbs on November 20, I just had to go for the "logn shot" of 250 lbs (13 more lbs).
I am so proud to say that I surpassed that goal this week too and now weigh 246.2 lbs (total of 40.8 lbs GONE) my lowest weight in several years.
Anyway it has been great coming to this thread each week, to see how everyone did. It has been very encouraging.
