My shape is NOT a pay site and as I was losing it was great because as my size changed I could update and still get good picks. All an individual choice.

Thank you for the info L144S. I have been looking for something just like this to help me in my constant struggle to find the right size. I shop online a lot as I can no longer drive due to a neurological problem. I have it written down on my list of things to try and I am going to look at the sight first thing tomorrow morning. I appreciate you taking the time to post the info.

My mother refuses to shop in stores anymore. She always buys from QVC because a) they give you the sizes of every garment and b) in case it's horrible, you can always exchange it for the correct size. As they run XS to 26/28, you can get lucky with most anything you want.

I just pulled two shirts off the rack on Sunday. One was a 2x and one was a 3x. They fit identically. Go figure.

The whole process of shopping and trying on clothes makes me crazy! I wish my clothes would just magically breed.

Like, my favorite jeans and my favorite khaki's should have an adorable light-weight summer skirt as a love child. That would please me greatly!

Rule of thumb- The more expensive the item, the more generously sized it is. Cheaper=smaller. Most things are made in different countries is the reason there is inconsistency. I'm a 16 at Lane Bryant and Kohl's. If I go to a cheapy store and have to wear a 20+ for it to fit..I don't freakin buy it...LOL

This would go along with the hair spray I always wanted to invent that you could spray on when your hair looks perfect and it would then stop growing at that length.

My Michelle, that's hilarious - I love your sense of humor. And yes, I really wish I could just update the fashions already in my closet without having to go out and try on umpteen things to get one decent skirt.

L144S, you are right- I guess they make their money when you order clothes from them. This is a great tip, and I will be trying them out soon - in time for my new fall wardrobe.
