I am so upset that I can't find any of my OA materials. I made my first purchase today, the 12 steps of OA and Food Addiction by Kay Shepherd. I hope this was a good purchase to start with ?!?!?

My first purchase was the 12 & 12 and the OA workbook. I also bought an OA book of personal stories. I found it at a garage sale for .50 about a year ago. I bought it and never read it. But, now I've read the entire thing. I could have written some of the stories in that book!

Which Kay Sheppard book did you get? Food Addiction: The Body Knows or From the First Bite? From the First Bite is the newer of the two and has a more up to date food plan. For the most up to date info, you can go to kaysheppard.com and get it. Good start!!

I found Food Addiction: The Body Knows: Revised & Expanded Edit 1993, on ebay for $4. I had some ebay bucks to spend, and a few dollars left in my paypal so I was able to get that and the OA $5 for less than $10. I am waiting on my Amazon gift certificates from cashing in all (mypoints, freeride, etc) my point rewards and I had planned on getting the newer one since it cost more, if I liked the one I purchased on ebay.

Got to love Google !! Thanks. This will help me until the books come. It shows all the way up to page 112. I tend to write notes in the margins in books like these and highlight.

Good! Both books are very helpful! Kay has also published a daily devotional that is good too. She also has a cookbook that is back in print, but I think you can only buy it on her website now.
