Default Extreme Fat Smash vs Original Fat Smash

So, I've ordered both books as both were at a more than reasonable cost and have been reading up on both since my order. As fast as I can tell the EFS has a actual meal plan, three phases, and is a little more strict? Whereas the original FS is more like south beach in terms of "unlimited" and "up to xyz cups allowed" type format and has four phases?

My question is, I have approx 45lbs to lose, if I prefer the layout of having a meal plan can I start with the EFS or since as I've read its for those who don't have as much weight to lose should I start with the FS?

Hi Jenny (aka 8675309 LOL. I grew up in the 80's ) It's good to see another "former beacher" on the board.

I'm no expert on FS or EFS, because I just started recently, but what I've decided to do is do EFS for about two weeks and then transition over to regular fat smash. I will also do EFS if I have a major caloric debaucle (like this weekend, LOL. I went out for my birthday...major damage but I got back on plan last night).

I look at EFS like Phase 1 was on SBD...it's probably good for a short period of time.

Hope this helps, and hopefully some of the "old timer" fat smashers will chime in.
