I've heard that Bob from "The Biggest Loser" says plateaus do not exist. Well, I beg to differ.
I was stuck at 203 for a month! A month! And now, doing nothing differently, I have lost FIVE pounds in nine days. I've lost two pounds in the last two days.
If there's anything good about a plateau, it's the follow up "whoosh". Thankfully, those exist too.
Now I love love love me some Bob, but on this one he's just silly. Plateaus (and diet dr. pepper) are not mythical. Now some people are under the misguided notion that there is nothing that can be done about plateaus, they are just as silly and wrong headed as Bob and you have proven it. Congrats on kicking that plateau's butt.

I'm sure there are people out there who are in self-induced plateaus and need a little kick in the rear. Bu then there really are times of actual honest-to-goodness plateaus too. Lucky are those who know them not!
Just remind me of this thread the next time I reach one, K?
Oh Eliana you've given me hope! I've been in a very real, honest to goodness, not self-induced plateau for.. a month now? It's not that I'm totally stuck but I'm losing the weight about 1/3 as fast as before, if that, without changing a darned thing. I still can't decide if it's because I'm getting down toward the end now or if maybe, just maybe, I'll speed up a little more soon. Anyway I'm just going to keep pluggin along, NOTHING will stop me
Thanks for the.. hope? lol
