Default Creamy Soups

I am in phase 1 and curious about creamy soups. I have been thinking about green bean casserole??? Is that something that i can eat during P1, I would omit the fried onions.

Also what about something like salisbury steak (if I can figure out how to make without breadcrumbs, crackers etc) when I make it I use cream of mushroom soup so something else creamy.

Thanks ladies!!!

Also on the side.... I started SBD P1 on Tuesday and I am down about 5 pounds!!! WOO HOO!!

Just me, but for now, I'd stay away from "heavy" foods. How about sauteing the green beans with some onion and seasoning? Or roasting with some olive oil?

Chicken and veggie soup is great. check out the soup recipes in the recipe files.

You don't want to use canned creamed soups, especially in Phase 1, because they contain flour and are full of added chemicals. But you could make a healthy, homemade version of cream of mushroom soup with mushrooms and evaporated skim milk, then puree it and make your green bean casserole with it.

I hope that helps!
