I'm glad everyone is doing so well!! Unfortunately I'm not going to make my goal....I'm shooting for 169 by v-day, but my weight just keeps going up and down and I can't seem to stay motivated to exercise and eat right! I'm trying to do better this week, I just did an hour of cardio!
I have 4.6 lbs to go! My weight loss has gotten really slow the past week so I am going to be a little more mindful of my eating and cut out the dark chocolate covered ginger which I've been snacking on entirely too much. I really really really want to see a number on the scale as close to 144 on V-Day as I can get down to. Besides, an orange or an apple can be just as satisfying and leaves me feeling better afterwards.
I also need to ramp up my exercise. I already do cardio every day for 45 min to an hour but I am thinking I need to increase the intensity as well as start a strength training program. Hmmm...I should probably visit the exercise forum on the board for some ideas.
I hit my Valentine's goal today. I'm super excited! This is the very first challenge that I've actually met my goal. I usually set my goal pretty steep since it doesn't bother me too much to not make it. But I did it this time! HELLO good day!
And wfonseca, you can lose .4 in a week no problem!
So, my official WI this morning is 163.3 (.9 loss). I was hoping for 162-something, but since my weekend consisted of Mc Donalds, pizza, homemade Indian Tacos, and chocolate covered stawberries, well I'm just glad to not have a gain.
I don't know what my problem was but I am back on track! I really didn't eat all that much this weekend, I just ate really bad so I'm hoping that maybe I am just retaining water from all the sodium I'm sure I consumed, and that just maybe I will have a woosh in the next couple of days. We shall see!

I know I'm sorry! I just needed to confess my food sins, lol. An Indian taco is basically fried bread with chili, cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato and whatever else on top. They have them at fairs here but I could not resist these because they were homemade and delish. I didn't eat that much, not even a whole one but it's not anywhere near the plan for my diet!
Just wanted to pop in and see how everyone is doing?
Unofficial WI this morning says 162.2 and since that's better than my "official" WI, I am going with it. So I have about 2.5 to lose by Monday to make my goal of 159.9. Probably not going to happen but hopefully I'll get there soon after.
I am actually going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras this weekend so next week will be focusing on not gaining anything.

I'm currently stuck at my weight, but am hoping for a weekend woosh as I've been very very good this week, lots of walking and I've averaged at 1370 calories per day. To reach goal by Valentine's is not going to happen but I'm hoping to lose as much as I can to get some motivation to keep on trucking. So plan is to cut the sodium and drink more water, in addition to staying OP and see what happens
fashin - That taco sounds really good! You'd doing really well, so even if you make it close, that's awesome!! Have fun at mardi gras!
sanna - ty Hey, even getting close to your goal is SUPER! I get excited every time the scale goes down. lol
Thanks for bumping this thread, I try to post in here a couple times a week, but I couldn't find it. boo! I'm up a little today from too much sodium last night, but I've convinced myself it'll go back down.
