After reading all your threads, I would really like to join your group. All of you are so inspiring, and I related with each and every one of the issues going on. I have recently joined WW (again) for the umpteenth time and am determined to get it off and keep it off this time. I started out at close to 300, and lost 8 pounds my first week. I didn't go last week, as I have been very sick with sinus infection and bronchitis. The doctor has me on two different antibiotics, as well as an antihistamine nasal spray and codiene cough syrup. Although in the past when I have been really sick, the first thing I wanted was comfort food - my pepsi and M&Ms, this time, I have actually stayed on program. This is a huge step for me. I am also bumming about the extra weight the medicine will put on, but when I weigh in this Saturday, I am not going to let it get me down because I know where it will be coming from. Also, this time around it seems easier for me to stay OP, because the hubbie has decided to do it with me. He won't go to meetings, but he is staying within his point range and eating the WW recipes I cook. This is a HUGE step for him, as he has always been a carb and sugar junkie. Thus, it has made it easier with no junk food around the house. Anyway, I am glad to be here and look forward to being a part of this wonderful group. Thanks!
