[QUOTE=2cute2Bfat]Congratulations everyone !!!! You are off to a great start !!!

Judy... You can only get 4 cars per day... then one bonus per week, except for those 2x2 bonuses ... I am assuming your 5 cars included a bonus. ??

DUH! I edited it. I quiclky looked at the hightlighted stuff: Water, Exercise, Journal, Food Plan and, here's my Oops, Actions. I thought it was one of the cars. Now that I've read it more carefully I'll park car #5 til the end of today.

I earned 2 bonus points (the easy one) yesterday plus my four cars, so I flew to Australia and picked up Leanne and Oceangirl, then home to Illinois and headed west... luckily I didn't have far to go to pick up Terri. Gizmo, I'm coming for you later today!

Yay another on track (or should that be 'on road'?) day for me yesterday. The hardest part was the exercise because a scuba dive school turned up to use the pool (that I normally have to myself at that time of morning). And of course it was mainly people 18-25 that were skinny! But having read Dr Phil about self-talk the night before, I told myself I was going to succeed and nothing was going to stop me, even some skinny people gawking at me in the pool! Of course, once I got past that I felt so empowered because I had been able to stick with it that I had another great day
I made it to Sue Marie last night and started heading out to pick up Qadira in New Mexico

That was exactly what I needed to hear.

Question:

I've already read Dr. Phil and don't want to read other weight-loss books. I've signed up for the Discovery Health National Body Challenge. If I spend time online reading their educational materials (and Oprah's website), will that count for bonus? I can still share what I learn.

Yes, Terri. That would be fine.

The purpose of this bonus is to replace negative thoughts and beliefs with positive.
Overeating is a MIND problem as well as a food problem.
Any nutritional book or self help book or several educational articles on the Discovery Health National Body Challenge will count. It just needs to be equivalent in length to a chapter in a book. One short magazine article isn't enough... but several articles would be.

I posted this on the other thread and decided to copy it here.
I guess I'm stuck in Hawaii till I earn another bonus plane , therefore I'm going to stay put and Fly to Germany next instead of coming home. It's a good thing I'm sending my chauffeur to pick you ladies up daily. I hired him
from a strip club so ladies cool your duels. So far He's picked up Evilyn,
Memoc,Barbpa,J-Ann,Sandy in Maine and now heading down the East Coast.
Even though I'm on the island I'm following the plan and earning my cars.
I'm just sorry I'm not in the Limo with the CHAUFFEUR.

Question - For each pound, we get a car? Also, where do we post our journals? Or is this just something we do for ourselves? I use Diet Power and it allows me to track my food and keep a journal in it as well...

I haven't gotten my map yet, strange how the Postal Service is! I'll check again today! I think this challenge is awesome!
Thanks!
Sue...

No Sue ... you do NOT get a car for losing a pound.
Your earn your cars by doing the four daily requirements. One car for each requirement.

1. Follow your food plan ... NO CHEATING (earn one car)
2. Drink 64 oz of water DAILY (earn one car)
3. Exercise a minimum of 20 minutes daily (earn one car)
4. Journal your food, water, exercise and FEELINGS DAILY (earn one car)

You can earn 4 cars per day by doing those above.

In addition ... you can earn bonus cars / planes

You can earn ONE bonus per week by reading
You can earn ONE bonus per week by posting DAILY for 7 days

You can also earn TWO bonuses for losing 2lbs in 2 weeks challenge.
That is one Monday Feb 14th and Monday Feb 28th
And you can earn an additional TWO bonus cars for weighing LESS on Feb 28 than you did on Feb 1st. It does not matter if it is one pound or 15 pounds less.

YES ... you Diet Power site is fine to keep track of everything.
The MAIN GOAL is to make this a DAILY effort to improve our health ... and the rewards come from doing those DAILY requirements.
As a result of doing those daily actions... you will lose weight.

Hope that helps clear things up for you.
Hopefully your map will arrive this weekend. I mailed it the day after I got your address

I am so loving planning my route... Even though there are more folks on the east coast, I'm heading west, cause I figure that'll give me incentive to keep moving as time goes on. The other funny thing is that this is making me want to actually drive across the country, which I've never done. Hope that would be good rather than bad for losing weight.

2Cute:Youd did a really great job on the challenge road trip, and I've got my map on the fridge so I can see it daily, but I've decided that I'm not going to participate in this one. No I'm not giving up on watching what I eat, or drinking my water, orexercising, but the journaling has got to go. I've got more than enought stress in my life right now, and obcessing about little sticker is not in my best interest right now.

But I will be checking on all the rest of you!!!

BARBg... {{ HUGS }}

Just scratch that journal part right off your challenge.
Don't put that pressure on yourself.
I never meant this to cause anyone stress. And it doesn't have to. SKIP IT !!!
I know a lot of people only exercise 3 times a week. And that is fine too.
Just do what you helps... and leave out what doesn't.
And if that means leaving out the ENTIRE challenge... then that is fine too. {{ HUGS }}
