Default 10 Days In The Life Boat #163

Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.
This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Grab an oar and join us doing our best to not fall out of the boat and and get wet. We need to meet our goals to stay dry.

Hi I just joined yesterday and I'm in the boat for the next 10 days. I plan to stay in the boat by exercising most days and eat according to MY plan which will be "goal oriented." Good luck!

Hi goals for this week

STAY within my points plan - to not blow out the points into the weeklies - small dips on a couple of days will be acceptable

keep drinking water - and taking some inspiration for j-ann SAY NO - yes I need to do that too... no to alcohol no to chocolate and no to junk foods this week!

Exercise - seem to be doing well - aiming for 10,000 steps every day this week! lets see if I can...

today have a few to go to get there before bed

Welcome Terry23 nice to have another rower on board - I fall overboard quite often ... are you any good at fishing ????

I've been gone forever and was wondering if I'd recognize anything around here. Glad to see the lifeboat is afloat. Joining a bit late, but I'm in. I have three goals for this leg of the journey:

- Replace the battery in my scale
- Weigh myself!
- Start tracking my food again

Let's get rowing, all. Good to see you, Judy! Hello to everyone I haven't met before.

Judy, stop it! First of all, it's too cold to be in the water. Secondly, every day in the water is, you know, a day not in the boat. Get back in here!

Me, I have yet to really get rowing. Still no battery for the scale. Haven't tracked yet. I've got to start the building blocks.

Hi Vortex - how is the getting the replacement battery going - I have to remove my scale batteries or I end up replacing them every two weeks!

J-ann/Judy - life ring thrown out to pull you back in now please start rowing with us again !

I had a bit of a tip / splash -today would have liked to drink more water.. and didn't quite get to my 10,000 steps but still sticking within my WW program even with a social outing with work
fell in on the outing - it was a chocolate place... that mouse was very nice though so was the hot chocolate With chilli!
climbed back in when realised it fitted into my points for WW! (Phew)

Yikes! Still didn't replace that battery, Karencat. Didn't do my DVD the other day either, but I sure got my exercise this morning setting up a graduation party for our graduating English majors--lots of walking, moving furniture, and working up a sweat because the building was too hot!

Karencat, do you do WW in person or online? I was online the last time I had a decent weight loss. Wanting to get back to it again, though I can't quite figure out what the magic was last time....

I'm an online member - I cant make any of the meeting times - I take a dance class during the evening one and I have work during the day one ... hence online only which is fine by me I dislike talking in person writing is much easier

my last few days rowing that life boat went ok - used up every single point in my WW program got all my fit point/goals and managed to loose 1.7kg by walking 10,000 all but one day so far this month and doing 2 days weight training - drinking reasonable amounts of water not as much as I would have thought ..

so still rowing even if its going around in circles

how are our fellow rowers doing???

getting into winter in my part of the world so getting colder and harder to move

I got back in the boat and immediately fell back out. I'm disgusted with myself. Grrr!

Karen, Good job on losing.

Angela, Go get that battery!

Head on over to slip 164 where we'll board and venture out again on a new leg of our journey.
