Quick check in, got the bedroom air conditioner fixed so looking forward to a good sleep tonight. Grocery shopping tomorrow, I did well today, no extra snacks during the, dinner was weird due to waiting for maintenance people. Next goal is too see if I can fix my scale or if I have to get a new one.
Hi! Been reg'd as a member for a while, but I think this is my first post... if it's not, I totally don't remember lol Did a bio, but I'm terrible at them, so I'll give a mini one here for ya'll
I'm Kalena, 27, live in West Texas, husband (Mike) drives a truck, have 3 chubby doggies (heeler mutt, dalmatian mutt, weenie). Have been very overweight my whole life, school years were soooo fun finally starting to get over all that nonsense though ummmm let's see... on day 18 of my first Whole30, feel pretty darn awesome, planning on doing a couple more rounds and then transitioning to paleo
I'm glad to be here and hope to be seeing more of ya'll!
Cindy ~ Yeah next month I'm gonna buy Zumba for beginners cause like I said in my last post I want to start dancing but I dont know how to start so I thought Zumba would be a good starting point.
Kalwoma ~ Welcome to the thread and the forum

Woke up at around 3 a.m. Its now almost 5 a.m. I'm gonna go to school today from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. so I wont be there for that long today. I'm gonna start doing my VB work out for an hour in the morning and for an hour at night cause I'm pretty sure I'm pushing 300 again if not I'm getting pretty close and I dont want to go backwards I want to go forwards. I hope everyone has an awesome day today.

Welcome Kalwoma
Quick check in, still avoiding snacks at work, had a reasonable dinner and did fairly well grocery shopping. Not having things around the house in excess is working so far.... Now to start the daily workouts
Terra1984 I've got a few of the different Just Dance games for the Wii, I love using those for dance-y workouts!
We're on night shift, still getting adjusted to eating "lunch" at midnight, but it's the start of Day 19, planning on hitting some weights later this evening. Breakfast was acorn squash stuffed with spanish cauli rice & spicy beef roast topped with a fried egg, so yum
The scale surprised me today with yet another 2 pound loss. That makes 6 pounds lost since I entered the hospital on September 3rd. It brings me down to 239. Yea!! I am into the 230's.
Yesterday was crazy. I was not hungry all day and did not eat. In the evening I went with out my Son and family and had 15 medium to large chicken wings. No breading on them, they were prepared with only Butter and Frank's Hot Sauce. 1,125 Calories, 0 Carbs, 75g Fat, 90g Protein. Later I added 1 oz of Cabot Habanero Cheddar Cheese to raise my calorie count to 1235
Welp...Posted an entire post and it got lost in la la land...Not going to retype the whole thing but wanted to say hello! Hello to all the new people and welcome back some old regulars!! Haven't been posting as often as I'd like but I'm doing well!! Tonight is leg night for me. I haven't taken a rest day all week so if I wanted to relax this weekend I can...That will be a first for me. Seems like I'm always doing something and still have to squeeze in a work out. I'm thinking of a chill weekend inside with DH and have a movie marathon. I'm going to be coloring my hair again this weekend...This time a darker violet color to be ready for fall....Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!! Will try to post tomorrow but if not, Sunday for sure!
I had a bacon, sausage, mushroom and cheese omelet for lunch and a huge (16 oz) serving of roast turkey breast for dinner along with Habanero cheddar cheese for a snack.

Just a quick check in. My weekend is over, back to teaching tomorrow. Didn't do my workouts, but I did do okay with eating. Just felt blah all weekend, but keeping focused on my goals.
Hey all… Apologies for going MIA for the last two weeks; it’s been a rough two weeks. My entire division (at work) was notified that our last day would be September 25th. We were all blindsided and needless to say, it’s been a nightmare. I have never been fired or laid off from any job. Subsequently, I fell off the wagon for the weekend following the lay-off announcement but I am back on and stronger than ever. Spent the last two weeks sending out resumes and getting interview ready. Hopefully something comes along quick…
Even with falling off the wagon… I think I am still on track to make my 320 September Goal. Currently at 324.4. I am really trying to push through these next two weeks to make my September Goal.
Sam, you continue to be an inspiration every day! Very cool news that DH might be starting to have baby on the brain. Out of the 220s? Amazing. You better tell us when you decide to buy the boots? I have ever been able to wear boots and want to live through you.
Cindy, All we can do is get back on the wagon right? 40 lbs is amazing and is a clear reflection that you can do it.
Terra, Chipotle is my weak spot. I absolutely love their food. Whenever I have a cheat meal, its chipotle. My partner and I have real arguments about what our cheat meals will be… Lol. Somehow pizza doesn’t measure up to Chipotle. Now I want some for lunch…. I am also obsessed with watching my 600 lb life; it’s definitely a motivator.
Time4me2change, Hey! Nice to meet ya! I am new, joined last month.
Larry, Sorry to hear you were going through rough times. Good to see you back. Was wondering where you had gone. Keep us updated.
Twohundred2lose, Thank you for the positive words! Yay! If we don’t try, it won’t happen right? I have only been on here a month or so but I tell you that these girls & guys have been an amazing support system. Even just hearing their stories and their journeys has been nothing but inspiring.
